close to the train station and the city area silent (sound-proofing windows) simple, nevertheless fine breakfast helpful staff
use this hotel every year for the last 20 years
The property was clean and their breakfast was OK.
Our room was very small. Aside from the fact that it was on the third floor with no elevator it had the smallest most uncomfortable and impractical shower. It was an effort for the staff to be cordial. We would not return
/friendly and helpful staff.
Location was quite close to the train station but a long walk from the city centre,
Very clean, lots of storage space for your belongings. Good sized bathroom. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Close to main train station. My room faced the garden and was super quiet. I slept well every night and never heard any other guests.
Kind staff, nice restaurant, clean, good food
next to a high traffic road and to railroad tracks
I was a little hesitant to book here because it seemed so far from the old town compared to other hotels I was interested in. However, it was quite close to the train station and the walk to the old town really wasn't that bad (about 1/2 an hour). The hotel was quiet, clean and had an excellent breakfast.
Short easy walk to station. Excellent restaurant, with nice garden, on site. Very good, very clean bathroom. Excellent double glazing so no road or train noise. Near to cheaper bar / restaurant with a garden (about 150 metres back down the road).
Not very easy to find the road - no obvious signpost, and it's just off the city centre maps (it's Station Road, though, so, as the name indicates, parallel to the railway line: leave the station via Suedtiroler-Platz). No lift (though someone helped us with bags as needed). Efficient rather than friendly; a bit more like a 'restaurant with rooms above' than a hotel. Room was small for 2 people. Bed was creaky and did not have a memory foam mattress. 'Rest day' was Monday; but the whole place was closed on Sunday evening and Monday. We could still access our room but there was no bar service or anything else. It was OK but seemed strange that the proprietors had not warned us about this (fortunately the cheaper place nearby was open for food and drink). OK for stopover but not an especially attractive area, and limited facilities.
Located close to train station Good size single rooms Good breakfast with coffee machine Friendly staff
Rooms facing the road are noisy from railway yard noise.
room is clean.
It’s a little bit far fram old town. But you can takr bus 23 to town.
1. Good breakfast. 2. Good wifi 3. Value for money.
1. Bus stop is about 500-700M away.
faces a busy street
I appreciated that the Gasthof Auerhahn hold my room until my late arrival 10:30 pm and the staff gave me a warm welcome.
People smoked just outside their rooms outside and the smoke got into my room
Close to train station. Free wi-fi.
