The Markterwirt is a hotel with a restaurant and a centuries-old tradition in the centre of Altenmarkt. Parking spaces and a sauna can be used free of charge. In the morning a rich breakfast with organic products is served. Half-board also includes a 4-course dinner with a choice of dishes. A la carte dishes are served in the traditional restaurant with its open fireplace, in the café with its large garden terrace, and in the pizzeria (in winter only). A ski bus stop is right behind Hotel Gasthof Markterwirt. A cross-country ski run is only a 2-minute walk away. A golf course is 4 km away.
