Excellent central location in the Aldstadt. Cosy rooms and great sense of history. Tasty breakfast and friendly staff.
No tea or coffee in room
Great location in old town.
Room overlooked a very busy square, which had rowdy drunks in it all night long. In addition, the beds were not very comfortable, they were too low and had thin mattresses, and you could feel the wood sides of the bed getting in and out of bed.
Good location in the centre of the old town. Great breakfast buffet. Stayed here before and hope to stay again.
Our room was above the main pedestrian street which was a little "lively" at times through the night. We had the window open to cool the room, but that let in the noise. Previously, we've had a room at the rear which was much quieter
Great location. Easy walking distance from the train station and restaurants and sights right outside the door.
The room was very tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Although it looked on to the main street it was quiet in the evening. Wonderful breakfasts and good location.
Staff could have been a litttle mroe friendly
In the old town, a charming traditional building beautifully upgraded with lots of original features. Staff were very warm and helpful. Spacious room with good wifi.
Hot water a bit short when rising late in the morning. Being in the old town is charming , you awake as if to a medieval market, but of course you must also expect a bit of evening party noise outside.
When a parking spot is booked, the hotel sends you an email with a clear plan how to access both the parking spot (10 minutes from hotel) and the hotel. Friendly staff, even if we arrived late at night.
The hotel is in City Center but also close from airport: don't be surprised if you hear a plane landing. If you arrive late (around 9:30am) at breakfast, you won't find a lot of food left.
Difficulty getting bags up to our room - had to use stairs. Room was fairly basic.
Location was perfect. Right is the center of the old town and pedestrian area. Steps away from the famous Golden Roof and the city tower!
The "Gasthof-Hotel Weisses Kreuz" is located in the mid-point of the main street of the old town. The appearance and the wooden interior of the building feel its history of several hundred years. In the room we stayed, there was "sitting-space" with bay windows. The view of the old town like the "Golden Roof" through the bay windows was great. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also nice and breakfast, especially, many types breads was very delicious. Only the shower-booth was installed, but it is better than the narrow and small bathtub in the limited space. The hand-shower was very convenient. In each of facilities, services and breakfasts, there was wonderfulness and comfort of the small-medium sized hotel. It is impossible to feel them in large hotels which are overflowing with tourists. Coupled with its historic atmosphere, despite the midst of summer vacation season, we were able to stay in calm and quiet.
Only the shower-booth was installed. (But, it is better than the narrow and small bathtub in the limited space.)
Great location with amazing history.
Very clean and great location for visiting old town.
There is no air-con so we needed an open window however street noise was a real pain being over bars etc.
location is very perfect.
service and hospitality.
A very Austrian hotel; it felt like staying in a diorama. Definitely not a luxury hotel, but very charming. The best location in town.
Perfect location right in the middle of Innsbruck. The hotel was cozy and charming. The staff welcoming and friendly. They gave great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The parking was perfect and only a few minutes walk from the garage to the hotel. Breakfast was delicious.
staff could not do enough for us, very helpful and flexible, we could make tea, we were given glasses for beer and wine in our room with corkscrews and bottle openers. location was perfect right beside the Golden Roof in the heart of the old city.
overall the hotel was a little dated, ok it was built in the 15th century but the interior white walls and green doors was a little hospital like and the white unfortunately was covered in scuff marks from bags etc, breakfast a little plain.
Staff very friendly, breakfast terrific and tea/coffee service a nice touch. Pedestrian area fantastic - parking offsite but not far.
It was a fabulous hotel. The building is wonderfully old and romantic, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The (single) room was a good size and the shower was great. It was on the top floor and so had a wonderful view of the mountains.
For some reason it was very noisy in the morning. The room overlooked the street, and it was a hot night so the window was open. I think that I was just unlucky, and there's nothing that the hotel could have done about it.
Location couldn't be better!
Rooms at the front of the hotel are noisey during the night with drunk university students.
Perfect location in the old town and just a beautiful historic old hotel.
The noise from rowdy groups of out of control young people especially on the Friday and Saturday nights. This continued all throughout the night. Not the hotels fault but something needs to be done about this problem. It's bad for the tourism industry and it's bad for Innsbruck. This problem would effect all of the hotels in this vicinity.
Being in the heart of the Old Town. Loved our time there. Nice Hotel & liked that could walk easily to/from Station & other locations.
Maybe a little more variety at Breakfast would have been good.
Very comfortable accommodations. Modern facilities in a beautiful historic building. Excellent breakfast.
desk clerk made a small error, which was easily corrected.
this was the nicest hotel we stayed at on our european adventure. Great place, very historic nestled in the cutest little square
Location, parking, breakfast
No elevator for the eldery and large luggage
