Constant improvements and renovations have made our hotel the comfortable first-class accommodation it is today. Many attractions such as the "Goldenes Dachl" (Golden Roof) are within walking distance. You can park your car in a garage nearby. Our hotel is located in the pedestrian area of the Old Town of Innsbruck.
Many attractions such as the Golden Roof, the Imperial Palace and the Hofkirche are within walking distance.

You can quickly reach the city tower, the congress centre and many shops. The hotel is ideal for tourists as well as for business people attending a fair or a congress. Guests arriving by car can use a nearby garage located only 2 minutes away near the market hall. The ticket is available at the reception.

Food & beverage

In the hotel's cosy restaurant you can enjoy regional and international specialities. Traditional meat dishes include
"Tiroler Rostbraten" (roast) and "gebratener Berglammrücken" (lamb). Light fish dishes and creative desserts are also served.

We prepare the house special "Tiroler Zopfbraten mit Spinatknödel" according to an original recipe by the famous Philippine Welser, which dates from 1560.

The restaurant is open from 11:30 until 14:00 and 18:00 until 22:30 7 days a week.

Our 33 rooms are en suite and equipped with all common modern facilities.

We are the most central hotel in Innsbruck and many famous attractions are located nearby, such as the Golden Roof, the Hofkirche, the Ferdinandeum (Tyrolean Farmers' Museum), the city museum, St. Jacob's Cathedral and the popular shopping mile "Maria-Theresien-Straße". The shopping paradise "Rathausgalerien" (City Hall Galleries) are located only a few minutes' walk from our traditional hotel.

Greatt food nice dining araeas very quiet at night, close to Ehrenburg, Ruette, nueschwantien but with a small town feel. Friendly staff. Neatly kept charming building

No place to have a end of day/ before dinner drink unless you sit down for dinner

It's right in the middle of the town, so it's very convenient. Staff generally were quite helpful too.

The single room was very dark and creepy. The carpet seems to be centuries ago. The air-conditioning was noisy. The internet connection was unreliable. The room I was assigned didn't seem to be for guests, but for maids and servants. It was very different from the pictures it posted on the internet.

The hotel desk clerk, Nina, was super helpful and pleasant. She went out of her way to help us get everything we needed and make wonderful suggestions for things to see. We also appreciated the hotel restaurant with its attentive staff and delicious food.

The setting - so central, the pleasant atmosphere and the cheerful decoration in the bedroom and comfortable bed.

I did not like looking at a wall through my bedroom window! Mini-bar prices quite high for soft drinks.Better to have an empty fridge to fill up from local sources.

Location, character/history of hotel, view from our room (could see alps and Golden Roof from windows from room 411), great breakfast, helpful staff.

Both nights got woken up at 2am by noise on street below, room a little small, parking not cheap.

We stayed in one of the less expensive rooms. It was fairly basic but clean and with a decent bathroom. The staff were extremely helpful and it was in an ideal position for the centre of town. Very good indeed for a short stay.

Location, location, location - it was excellent!

There was no lounge or separate bar area so no place to relax with friends - the rooms are exceptionally small and entertaining there is out of the question.
