отель расположен в самом центре, рядом с основными достопримечательностями города - золотой крышей, музеями, собором. в пешеходной близости множество магазинов, ресторанов, кафе. описание отеля на сайте полностью соответствует действительности. нас разместили в 2-х комнатном номере, хотя его не бронировали. завтрак скромный - кроме овощей, 3 видов колбас и сыра были омлет и яйца, которые можно сварить на ваш вкус. в целом, впечатления хорошие.

One of my favorite hotels ever. Very comfortable, clean, beautiful, and in an amazing location. I love this place!

The location was great because it was on the edge of Old Town and a simple 10 minute walk from the train station. The room had everything we needed and was very clean. The staff bent over backward to accomodate all of our needs.

The only thing we didn't like was that we wanted to change the date of arrival there and were unable to do that. That was frustrating as we were planning our trip and found we needed to make a change.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Goldener Adler. The hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was the deluxe double and it was very large, nicely decorated and comfortable. Philip, our waiter in the restaurant, became our "Go-To Guy" for recommendations on where to ski and dine (for a change of venue.) We dined in the hotel restaurant several times and the food was very good. We highly recommend the hotel.

This is not a complaint but a note for other travelers: The hotel is located on a main street in the Old Town area, one half block from the Little Golden Roof. There tends to be some street noise at night, which we did not find bothersome. But, if street noise bothers you, you may want to choose another hotel.

Parking was expensive and not on site, the hot water tap in bath fell off nearly hitting my foot - would've been painful, shower wasn't sealed well so left a big puddle on bathroom floor

The reviews are all correct: this place is as near to faultless as it gets. Lovely historic building with all modern comforts. Unusually warm and friendly staff. Unsurpassable location. To be recommended unreservedly.

Almost unheard of for me, but... there was really nothing I didn't like. Bravo Goldener Adler -- weiter so!

The location is perfect; right at the entrance to the pedestrian area and very close to the "golden roof". The room was spotless and well equipped. The member of staff who greeted us could not have been more helpful and courteous. A lovely place - next time we will stay more than one night!
