Perfect location for a short city break. Everything within walking distance. Excellent breakfast and efficient, friendly staff. Lack of tea making facilities in the room. |

The best points were its central location and the exceptionally warm welcome we received as well as the attention given to us during our stay especially when I was unwell. Ulrika (receptionist and waitress) is a gem The decor is old fashioned in parts even though it had been recently upgraded and the cleanliness needs some more attention Furniture and fittings are not antique just old! |

Located right next to Mozarts Geuburtshaus. Nice period feel (architecture, furniture). Breakfast was great, and the staff friendly. Helped us with sites to see and useful suggestions. Also, when we left at 6:30 am one morning, a member of the staff was ready with breakfast at 6:15, despite the breakfast schedule of 7:30-10. However, there was a smell coming from the bathroom at certain times. |

Location is fabulous for easy access to all of Old Town Salzburg. A very snug, atmospheric hotel with pleasant, accommodating staff. |

Hotel situation was ideal in centre of old town but it would be very noisy in summer. Receptionist was helpful and friendly. The rooms, even in October, were very airless at night. |

The hotel is very old but this adds to the absolute charm of the place and adds to the atmosphere in what is an historical part of Salzberg. The receptionist was so very helpful and her charm and personality was simply outstanding. The hotel is well placed, has the benefit of a restaurant/bar and an excellent breakfast. If the opportunity arises, this will be our hotel of choice |

Quaint and historic location, very friendly owner, great breakfast, spacious room. The public parking garage was a 10-minute walk away. Also, the street is too narrow for a car to drive down and is pedestrian only. So, unloading and loading luggage is difficult. |

The hotel is right in the heart of Salburg and a short stroll to all of the sites. A good selection for breakfast. Internet access for customers was free. Hotel staff were helpful and the restaurant served good meals at reasonable prices. I would suggest a mini bar in the room if possible. Also our safe didnt work, which wasnt a problem because we kept our valuables in the reception safe. |

It was close to Salzburg Catherdral and right in town. However, since the town is small we actually could have stayed somewhere else for a reasonable rate. The hotel rate was much too high for what we got. The bathroom had a sewer smell coming from the bathroom floor vent. It was also dark in the bathroom. We stayed on Saturday night and their cafe downstairs was noisy until after midnight. |
