Dating from 1824/1825, Hotel Graf Stadion was built in the Biedermeier style and is a protected historic building. It also meets the criteria of the eco-label for tourist accommodations and was awarded the Austrian eco-labeling prize in 2012. Electricity for the entire house is provided by hydro-power, saving 5.5 tons of CO2 emission each year. Heating is provided by Vienna's long-distance heating system, saving 56 tons of CO2 emission each year.
