Grand Hotel Europa    

This hotel deserves its 5 star rating. Breakfast was included and had everything you wanted. Dinner was silver service at its very best. Nowhere have we experienced such good service and food.

Convenient location to train station. Lovely breakfast, and nice bar. Staff were all friendly.

Excelent room, exceptional bathroom, excelent breakfast. Only stayed for a night but I would choose it again. Very good located if arrive by train.

Location is good. Only 7 minutes walk to the old town. Facilities are modern in contrast with the outside. Staffs are really nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Room too small for a five star hotel. Not worth 5 stars at all. The restaurant is not only over-expensive, but not showing good taste (for non-Austrians). Breakfast looked good, but when coming closer, lacked freshness. No, we were not happy at all.

Excellent service, very nice staff, wonderful service inside the restaurant for the dinner, special atmosphere, real 5 star restaurant. Rooms very elegant and functional with very fancy lightening system.

The price, location, and front desk staff friendliness. The rooms were superb and the view of the encompassing mountains were breath taking.

The rigid and unfriendly restaurant staff, especially the men, Very cold and laxed in the people skills. Either one like their job or they don't and if they don, then quite but don't take it out on guests. They are too serious about the wrong things.

I liked the welcoming off the staff and also there intrestet in how they could assist.

Location - conveniently near to train and bus stations but also within easy walking distance of old town. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent restaurant and breakfasts. We had a logistical problem of our own making, and the management and staff of the Europa helped us to solve it. We'll certainly stay there again.

Convenient location close to rail and bus stations, yet just a short walk from the attractive old town. The room was comfortable and quiet, the restaurant excellent and the staff charming and attentive. We had a particular logistical difficulty of our own making while we were in Austria and Europa staff were very kind and helpful in sorting things out. We'll certainly stay there again.

The staff and facilities were great! Great location for checking out the city, fine food, and people watching!

Wish it had a better drive up. The location is right across from the train station (which is good and bad). During times with heavy traffic, plus ski bus pickup and drop off,it was challenging.

1) Took me a while to find out how to turn on the heat in room (probably because from a warm climate one is unused to these things) 2) room service was somewhat unreceptive (didn't puck up phone) 3) bathoom washbasin drained very slowly

Spacious comfortable room, with view across to the mountains. Large well appointed bathroom. Very helpful English speaking staff on reception. Superb restaurant. Very convenient location with undercover access through car park from railway station. The hotel is also very close to the drop off point for the airport (f) bus. We arrived early, before the hotel check in time, but had no problem checking in and being able to access our room. Excellent.

We were helped with our bags to our room (much appreciated), but a moment taken to show us how the room lighting system worked would have been helpful.

Not a five-star service, or standard. The personal showed us a surpricingly little knowledge about the city, and surpricingly low level of service. For example they asked us several times if we had ordered in the restaurant. We also got the food before our old plates had been taken away.
