too few English language TV stations (especially considering that it rained every day!). Ditch one or both of CNN and BBC World for a good movie channel.

The room was fantastic. Very large & very well equipped. The buffet breakfast was exceptional - nothing more could be asked for. Although not in the old town, everything was still within easy walking distance - 15 minutes max.

when we arrived there was a notice up saying that the hotel was replacing the lift and apologies for any inconvenience caused, however no person will be given a room beside the lift shaft and that work on the renovation of lift would not commence before 10am.

The hotel was great close to everything that we wanted to see. The hotel staff went out of there way to help you. They booked places for us to eat and she told as about the Christmas market. They also helped us with booking of the train to our next location. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back there again.

The locaiton

There were no billing boy for the Bags, and The carpet in the stair way to the room was not clean.

The staff was great. They were very helpful. Our room was clean, spacious, and the beds comfortable. I would recommend Hotel Auersperg without any reservations (ha! ha!).

The hotel lobby and breakfast room of the are very nicely decorated. It was too cold and rainy to go out in the garden, but it was very beautiful to look at from indoors. The hotel provided a computer with internet access free of charge. The included breakfast food was very good with home made items such as musilix, organic food and lots of fruit.

The room itself was quite spacious and included a lcd tv and couch, the only thing I thought was odd, was that the decor in the room was rather bland without any artwork on the walls.

There was no lift or air-conditioning in the Annexe where we stayed. As we experienced very hot waether it was rather hot in the room even with the fan they had supplied. Three stories was a long way to haul luggage up and down the stairs! I think the main hotel offered a very different experience.

High quality hotel with friendly, informative staff and many little extras. Our room, in the Villa, was more of a suite and very well presented. The location is close to bus routes, only a short walk into the centre of Salzburg and but in a quiet area. Add to this ease of access and free onsite parking and it hard to see how it could be bettered.

Convenient situated close to the city centre, yet in a quite location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms adequate and very clean. Outside terrace would have been very nice had the weather been better during our stay.

Helpful reception staff, fresh, bright decor, lovely breakfast room and terrace. Good breakfast. Gorgeous bath products, and fudge. Quiet location, well signposted. Good parking facilities. Bedroom comfortable.

Confused by two bathrooms! Beds a little hard for our taste.
