la posizione ed il panorama, la cortesia e professionalità del personale. bagno non adeguato alla categoria dell'hotel. ho già soggornato in questo hotel, la camera del sggiorno precedente era più adeguata ad un 4 stelle. |

The Hotel Haidenhof is situated just outside the old town (5 minute walk) on a hillside, resulting in breathtaking views of both the surrounding mountains and also Lienz itself. The hotel is very tastefuly furnished with rooms (including bathroom) being of above average size, many of which have balconies taking in the views described above. Beds were also a good quality and the shower was great. Breakfast was simply outstanding with foods ranging from cereals, yoghurts, fruit, breads, pastries, cold meats / cheeses, salmon / herring rollmops, boiled eggs along with bacon and scrambled eggs. We also used the restaurant for dinner and again the food was just wonderful, whilst both the "house" red and white wines were above average and strongly recommended. In summary had a wonderful stay at this hotel, capped off by friendly staff service and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending or returning to this hotel when next in the area. |

Fantastic setting, extremely helpful/interested staff. Went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Can't rate it highly enough. Decor brilliant. Unfortunately there was very little information in English, however staff were v. helpful. If instruction in the hotel were also in English ie sauna/leisure use then this hotel would be 100% perfect. |

We had a lovely view of Lienz; the food was wonderful; and the shower was the best in Europe ... great water pressure and a full glass (accordian style) enclosure to keep the water in the tub; comfortable beds. Nothing at all. Well, there was the smell of smoking. Apparently smoking is permitted in Austria in some public areas (the bar??). I find that distasteful, but my room was great. |

Vriendelijk personeel, goed eten, schone kamers met uitstekende douche, uitmuntende locatie met uitzicht over de stad., leuke evenementen (rodelen,skiwedstrijd) waardoor een leuk contact met overige hotel gasten tijdens verblijf geïnitieerd werd. |
