Gasthof-Hotel Hartlwirt  

The hotel is in the outskirts of the city, which is convinient when travel by car. There is a restaurant on the first floor where you can have dinner. The room was clean and everything worked fine - good for a short stay.

due to location there is nothing around. If you don't have car it's very inconvinient to get to the center. The church nearby starts to ring the bells at 7am, so no chance to sleep long ))

I have known Hartlwirt for 30 years. Always pleasant, helpful, simple but good value for money. When in Salzburg I definitely would stay there.

It is too near to the church. Parking extremely difficult occasionally.

My fiaance and I spent a fanatastic 5 days staying in Hartlwirt in Salzburg over the New Years break, the staff were friendly, the food excellent, and all were welcoming. We would highly recommend this hotel to all.

Good location, car parking and wifi for free, big bathroom with heated floor. Very nice wooden bar and restaurant.

Too much heat in the room at night, and it was snowing outside so we could not open the windows and slept poorly. Food at the hotel restaurant was average at best.

Austrian hospitality

Friendly without being ott, clean and comfortable in perfect location for visiting Salzburg without the high costs of city hotels. Rate included an excellent buffet breakfast with boiled eggs which were freshly boiled which is unusual even in more expensive hotels

Only minor issue was soundproofing from other adjoining rooms and street outside. Typical Austrian church bells striking every hour during the night.

There is a church next to the hotel with a guy ringing bells all the night and in the morning. Nice sounds.

The rooms were clean and bar staff very helpful. Bus into Salzburg was easy enough to find. Breakfast and restaurant very good

We asked for a double and two singles but got two doubles. When approached the manager shrugged and said one double could be pulled apart to make two singles. Did not offer to do this nor offer another bottom sheet for the bed when separated. Also this left very little room for suitcases. One of the bar staff finally found a sheet for i'D. Also at the time there were road works going on about 20m from our room from 7am to 7pm. Our room sometimes vibrated. So loud we could not leave the window open and the one fan for the four of us proved to be inadequate. Having said that, the owner was not able to control the noise but could have moved us to a quieter room for our three day stay

Food needs to improve.

The staff was super super super!!! The comfort Double was great and well worth the little extra. The murals are a marvel and make the hotel very friendly. Breakfast had everything plus, great coffee You can walk up to the square and catch a tram, or the bahn hof is 500 yds more. This Hotel is a Jewel.

Ausgezeichnetes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis; familiäre Atmosphäre; überaus freundliches Personal; sehr gutes Frühstück; etwas außerhalb der Stadt, aber leichte Erreichbarkeit der Innenstadt.

Die Glockenschläge der nahe gelegenen Kirche sind nachts bei offenem Fenster ziemlich laut zu hören, Fenster sind aber nahezu schalldicht. Lärm im Restaurant war in meinem Zimmer im ersten Stock sehr gut zu hören.

Sehr gute österreichische-steirische Küche, sehr freundliches und gut ausgebildetes Personal. Schöner schattiger Gastgarten unter alter Linde. Großer kostenloser Parkplatz, schnell (15Min)mit Obus im Zentrum von Salzburg.

Das Quietschen der Betten und der Badezimmer Türe. Im Lift geht das Licht an und aus.

Gemütliches Zimmer, gutes Essen.

Autobahnnähe, zu abseits der Stadt gelegen.

TV-Programme könnten sortiert bzw. überhaupt erst eingerichtet sein.

Bardzo przyjazny i uczynny personel, szczególnie Pani menedżer, która rozwiązywała wszelakie problemy i potrzeby gości. Dobre śniadania. Cicha okolica, a sławetny już zegar słyszałem tylko o 7 rano i tak naprawdę dzięki wieży kościoła wiedziałem w którym kierunku wracać ze spacerów po okolicy.

В ресторане отеля курили. Номер оказался совсем маленький, но мы там остановились всего на 1 ночь, так что нам это не помешало.
