Lake view

I stayed at a room right above their restaurant for two nights. There was a humming noise came from the floor which bothering my sleep. I brought out this problem to the gentleman on his night shift at the reception desk. He was very impatient and rude. He went upstairs to check the sound and said that the noise was from the hot water heater. Nobody complained about this problem before. He kept repeating there's nothing he could do, the hotel was fully booked. He asked me to speak to the lady on the morning shift if I couldn't stand the humming noise and vibration. The old lady at the morning shift explained that the noise was from the laundry of house keeping. It was absurd. Their laundry and dryer were right next to the reception desk. They were not running when I spoke to the service staff at previous night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! Certainly, I won't stay at this hotel again. 服務差,態度惡劣!!

I think Haus am See was one of the best places I have ever stayed. The people were relaxed and friendly, and very flexible and helpful. The position is magnificent, right on the water with glorious views of mountains and sunrise and sunset on lake and mts. My single use room with lake view was very spacious and comfortable with good views from the balcony or the bed. And there is so much to do in the area - staff were very helpful with their recommendations. Everything was very relaxed, and made me feel really at home. I do hope to get back there one day and will certainly recommend Haus am See to family and friends.

The location of Haus Am See is really gorgerous and significant, just by the lake. From the room with lake view, I can appreciate the beautiful Hallstatt See and peaceful sunset.

The equipment in the room was old and out of order. For example, in my room, the door handle of bathroom was loose, I couldn't even open it when I firstly locked the toilet. The bed also made a lot of noise when I got up. Besides, because I stayed for four nights, the breakfast buffet was all the same which was a little boring to me. Staff were friendly but I always confused to distinguish them from other guests because they didn't wear uniform. I think Haus am See could be more professional based on its unique location and bright potential.

It had free pakring, a great restaurant and free breakfast. The scenery was fabulous with the mountains and fog hugging you. The museum across the lake was very informative. Even the wifi was free. It was also nice and cozy warm. I still want to know why Gino Lolabridgada's picture was on the wall.

The bed was a bit hard and very squeaky.

The lake view is nice. Breakfast is great, with many choices. The reception lady is also quite helpful.

The internet literally only works on the first floor. So it is hard to use the internet on the second floor in the evening.

The view of room and the staff are excellent and helpful with two dogs and one cat also are very fanny. The the price and the breakfast are fair.

It maybe a little bit far always from the Hallstatt, you need to walk about 15-20 mins to the wharf (near to the Hallstatt Train station).

The hotel was so quiet. Also, the room was Soooo clean. And they provided nice service so i was so glad about that. The hotel is located in front of the lake, so i could see really fantastic view. I think that would be perfact memory to my life.

The hotel is located in front of the lake, so it takes few minute from station. But there were a lot of snow on the ground, so it was so hard to get to the hotel with big carrier and lugguge.

the staffs are very friendly and helpful, i was on my 4km walk from obertraun to hallstatt [ a long and tiring but very scenic walk ], when a hotel staff spotted me and he stopped his car and gave me a lift to hallstatt and offered to fetch me back to the hotel at my convenient time. very kind of him. the restaurant food is also very good. The view from my room was very beautiful.

The hotel is in a beautiful location right next to a lake and about 10 minutes from a ski lift. The staff was friendly and spoke English. Breakfast was tasty. Highly recommended.

The hotel was so good. Because of the staff and mostly because of its location.

The temperature was not too high, we had to sleeps in bags.

The location is breath taking. Its very calm and serene. The property is along side a huge park along side the lake and is very close to Hallstatt. It is very kid's friendly.

The size of the rooms and bathrooms is small.

The staff was extremely friendly. The location was ideal. We were seeking a relaxing few days away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Obertraun was very quiet and simply beautiful. It was also very close to Hallstatt. The food at the restaurant was delicious as well.
