Location and breakfast was A1 rooms very clean and modern staff were very good ,friendly and helpful ,new everything about Salzburg .The own was a very nice lady . very quiet location with great views of the mountains
Quiet place, green zone, not far from center, to wifi provider, nice breakfast (mind that for omlet you need to ask personel, so they can bring it hot), nice interior, lot's off TV chanels, nice garden
Close to old town with walking distance; Friendly staff; Good breakfast.
I loved the view around it and the quiet time one can have while staying in it. I also liked the buffet. It was nice
I hated the fact that it was far from everything. I had to walk for a long time if I wanted to get something from the supermarket. Also I didn't like that there was only one person working with the guest in the front desk; if I needed anything I had to wait sometime for the lady to finish with the guests. I think there must be more than one receptionist so that people don't waste their time waiting.
Everything is OK!
We have just arrived back from a 5 night stay at Haus Arenberg. Staff all exceptional. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Beds comfy and pillows to die for. We had a room overlooking the mountains. Perfect. Would certainly stay again if revisiting the area. Thanks for the lovely stay. Keep up the good work. By the way the dog is lovely.
Kind staff, not too far from city center, good way for walking, clean room
Very small bathroom. No door in bathroom. Privacy was hard to be protected.
its like a home with really friendly people and amazing ambience. not too far from the city centre.
Haus Arenberg was a gem of a place to stay at.Good location, just outside of Salzburg and a genuine 20 minute stroll to the Old Town centre. The owner and her staff couldn't have been more helpful. Would thoroughly recommend this Hotel to anyone.
The friendliness of the staff, notably the owner - a very approachable person. The room had a balcony which was nice. Very traditional which made a change from modern hotels I was staying in on my trip. Breakfast time was great - lots on offer and the owner made cooked good for you too. Was offered tea and homemade cake later on in the day. Beautiful surroundings and a great garden.
First time getting there, it involved going up cobbled streets with a heavy suitcase to reach the place. Thereafter, it wasn't a problem - quite a quick stroll down into the old town.
for me it was not a problem, but to reach downtown it need 15 minutes walking.
Position in a nice residential area requires a walk to get downtown. Not unpleasant but to be considered. Wifi connection in the room not very efficient
Our hosts were very friendly and enthusiastic, and very helpful with directions, etc. Breakfast was very nice too, with a wide selection. If the weather is nice, you can enjoy breakfast outside on the patio, which we did. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the balcony facing the city was nice too.
Wi-Fi signal was very weak in our room at the end of the hall. Had to literally sit near the door of the room to be connected. Room furnishings are a bit dated, but still OK. Aside from this, everything was fine.
Breakfast was fantastic, nice view over the city to the mountains, quiet and hidden location.
There were a couple of hot days, and no room fans or air conditioning.
While location was not in the center of everything touristy in Salzburg, I did like that it was in a quieter residential neighborhood.
loo in a partition is the bedroom not so good - but overall faultless
View of mountain and breakfast.
Soap dispenser, shower floor, rough towels and bed/covers
+ clean & comfortable + kind staff + beautiful & quiet location + close to city center (~ 15 mins walking) + guests parking available
Breakfast excellent Balcony with a view Fridge and tea and coffee facilities in room Easy 15 min walk to centre Good parking on site Very quiet
Would have preferred natural as opposed to synthetic duvets Wifi ok but our room at end not so good
What a gem! ...a short 10 minute walk away from the City center, this haus is an oasis with sweeping views of the Alps and surrounding countryside. The hosts are kind, cheery, and very welcoming. We wish we'd stay longer.
Rooms are a tad small, but that wouldn't keep us from returning.
Easy walkable access to old town Salzburg. Friendlyness of staff. Balcony view.
Unfortunately the weather. Rained continually during our stay :(
Room 12, the room we stayed in, has not been upgraded yet and has an old bathroom. Also the place, although beautiful, should get a complete renovation.
