The major resorts are Bad Gastein, Bad Hofgastein, Radstadt and Flachau in Salzburg, and Schladming and Ramsau in Styria. Most resorts are linked either by ski lifts or by free shuttle buses. Glacier skiing is possible on the Dachstein Glacier well into summer.
