Haus im Wiesengrund

The house is located in a beautiful area with field, mountains, stream. Warm and cozy rooms, nice view from balconies. The owners are old, but they are very kind, instructed whatever we asked. You can buy food from a supermarket near the house and cook in the kitchen in the apartment. It's much cheaper than having dinner in restaurant. On the first day, we came late when everything was close. We bought some ingredients from the host with the same price as in the supermarket.

There are few buses running between Obertraun and the center of Hallstatt, about 1 bus/1 hour. The last bus going back from Hallstatt is 7pm

It is a little far form Hallstatt, but there is a bustop near the hotel.

Beautiful place, clean and well equipped room.

Very warm and helpful hosting, the host speaks english well. There is a little stream, panoramic view and a river nearby. Room equipment: electric kettle, tea/coffee maker, hot plates, fridge, microwave, sink, cutlery, dishes, comfortable beds and shower, mirror, table, cabinet, cupboard, etc. Very warm linen and towels for some extra cost (~11-18 eur). 1 extra bed was also available in our room on demand. It is possible to order goods from the bakery for breakfast and the host would magically provide them in the morning. Timetables for train, bus and ships, info leaflets of sights, parking, it's easy to find anyway with the help of many signs in a 15 minute walk from the station. There are two floors (plus ground floor), one with a large shared balcony and one with a large shared extra kitchen and extra dining room. There are recycling bins. The only thing missing from the room were the plastic bags, but we didn't try to ask for them because we had some, and I think the host would have provided those if we needed them. :) This was the best hosting ever we've got so far! I can only recommend this very lovely house with full heart.

The house and room are very nice, especially the owner is very kind. Their password for WiFi is romantic.

You may need to use your own sponge to wash the dishes... And you need to use your own plastic bags for storing rubbish.. But i think you can ask the owner... We are just too lazy to ask

The apartment was great and had everything you might need. It was very spacious and even had a terrace which was nice to sit on in the evening. The house is next to a big field where skydivers land sometimes so if your lucky you can watch them. Franz was also a good host and helped us with everything we needed. It was also very easy to get into Hallstatt and up into the mountains from Haus im Wiesengrund. We would definitely stay there again.

The house holder is quite considerate. You can feel at home while staying here.

It's the little far from the town. It should be no problem if you get a car here. Only a few minute drive to the town.

The owner was very hospitable and tried his best to speak English (which was very good!). We were able to order multiple types of fresh baked bread every morning (delivered by 8a). There were trail maps and pamphlets in the apartment which helped plan our excursions. Our apartment had 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen and 2 large balconies that overlooked the beautiful Alps and gorgeous countryside. Rooms were outlined in lovely wood working and beds/pillows were comfortable. 5 minute drive to Dachstein Mountain lift and Hallstatt. Great find and very inexpensive!

The host was really nice! He even drived us to the rail station and gave lots of information about the city to us. The room was very nice and comfort as well!

房东是个老爷爷，人也很好，和我们聊得很开心。卧室看出去就是雪山草地和湖畔，太美了。

如果没有GPS恐怕不容易找到。

老板是个可爱的老爷爷，淳朴而可爱，小饭店安静而干净，非常适合一大家子出游，一间房可以住4个人，有一个- 设备齐全的小厨房，可以自己煮东西吃。

오스트리아 여행중에 가장 인상깊었던 곳입니다.. 호텔분위기보다 민박집 분위기였구요.. 사실 할슈타트에 머물고 싶었는데 예약을 늦게해서 방이 없어서 오버트라운에 이곳으로 예약했는데 결과적으로 좋았습니다. 덕분에 오버트라운에서 케이블카타고 멋진 얼음동굴하고 빙하가 흐르는 알프스 산맥의 관광지를 감상할 수 있었구요. 70정도 되신 할아버지께서 영어로 또박또박 각 방의 전원스위치 욕실 사용방법 커피메이커 사용방법, 오버트라운 관광지 정보, 할슈타트로 가는 버스 이용시간, 시골이라서 슈퍼마켓, 레스토랑 문이 금방 닫아서 몇시까지 가야하는지 장소는 어디인지 지도에 표시해주시면서 등등 하나하나 설명해주시는데 30분정도 걸린 듯 ㅋㅋ 너무 과하게 친절하게 대하시는 것 같아서 오히려 불편했더랍니다.. 숙소도 전형적인 오스트리아 시골 가정집 같았구요.. 아침에 빵 배달해 주신다고 빵 고르면 빵을 현관에 걸어두세요..

호텔이 아닌 분위기라서 약간 불편할 수도 있지만 머 그렇다고 욕실이 지저분하거나 그런 건 아닙니다.. 오히려 할슈타트에 비싸고 지저분한 숙소보단 여기가 훨신 좋더군요. 찾기 어렵다는 점이 있었고. 오버트라운 기차역에서 가ㄱ깝지만 다른 일반 오스트리아 가정집과 구분이 잘 안되서 찾기 어려웠습니다. ㅡㅡ;

经济 适合多人入住 我们预定的房间可以住4个人只收两个人的钱

地点很难找 即便有GPS 老头儿人很好但是房间改造的不太理想 很多设施不方便 如洗澡间厕所

Otelin sahibi karı koca.oldukça iyiler.otelin yeri doha harikasi,mükemmel.ulaşıma dikkat.gündüz saatlerinde gidilirse daha iyi olur.navigasyonla gittim,ancak bulabildim.HAllsttat la arasındaki mesafe yaklaşık 5-6 dakika.

Fantastic location, very friendly couple running the place. Accommodating regarding arrival and check-out, and knowledgeable about the local area. Very comfortable, warm rooms. Authentic 1970s decoration. Great location for public transport (bus and train)
