The room had a very nice view from the windows to the nearby mountains (we happened to have the best apartment for the view I believe). The hotel has very quiet (at least in the beginning of Oct.) and natural surroundings with only cowbells making some soothing music as it is the last house in the end of the road next to the alpine meadow and only has limited number of apartments in it. Nature paths are starting straight from the entrance door of the hotel. Only couple of hundred meters away there are possibilities for several additional leisure activities, including for kids and worth-to-see nature attractions. The apartment was big with a huge living room and two bed-rooms, the kitchen was equipped with almost everything needed. The hotel has a lot of information material about local attractions and up-to-date activities, transportation options, offers if needed also (bread)delivery service and last but not least, is affordable (e.g. no extra charge for internet connection, car parking or for small pets). Nevertheless, beware of the very steep slope to the area of the hotel (16-18% with a car) which in itself is the source for nice views around and several nature attractions like a wonderful gorge, numerous mountain creeks and nature paths for walking or jogging.

If to say anything at all then I would only mention the poor quality of the frying pan, so if you really plan self-made culinary masterpieces, bring your own pan (and cooking oil). As the owners are not living close to the hotel, it makes sense to agree with them your exact arrival and departure times beforehand.
