Family style accommodation: kept in a very traditional style which some people will love (some hate), bed very comfortable, nice view of the lake. Good breakfast. Interaction with locals which is nice when staying in a place like that.

The windows curtains should be much thicker to protect from sun in the morning. There was also constant beeping noise below the room I was staying at, maybe some kind of device that make it hard to sleep. The door to the room is wooden and does not protect from the noise from outside. Balcony is nice but does not provide privacy (others can look into your room from their balconies)

This is a fantastic choice if you want to be in the heart of the country. Fantastic views, peaceful and quiet. Excellent location to head up the mountains. This is located in Reid a 40-min walk outside of Wolfgang, the bus does stop nearby. The host is a riot and will only add to your enjoyment of Austria. Highly recommend staying here

I stayed at their apartment. The room was huge, beautifully decorated and the view was wonderful. The host was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our time so much and wish to stay a night more. It is the wonderful choice in st. Wolfgang if you have a car. Definitely!

The location of this lovely Guesthouse. The friendly owners who are always so helpful. A beautiful spot to have a holiday. Will definitely go there again.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights, and it was a fantastic experience! The host, hostess and their mother are very enthusiastic! The location of the hotel is not in the St. Wolfgang city centre, but the host can drive you forth and back whenever you require. The mother of the host was very cute, she brought us a plate of delicious cookies for high tea, told us to keep warm when going out, and also lent the umbrella. The room is super clean, warm and comfortable. You will enjoy staying in the room facing the lake, and listening the raining sound with doing nothing but only relaxing! I love this hotel, and I hope I will come back someday!!!!!

The location is good, very beautiful place, near the lake. The room is very clean and nice, the owners are very very kind, very friendly.

The room could be bigger, no Wi-fi (only wired internet), no safe and the TV is very small (not LCD).

A wonderful place. Top location; a little far from all the others yet near the city with its restaurants and bars, a very close (private) enter to the lake, cute room and nice view. The breakfast was super, and AnnMarie was very helpfull and kind. Also we enjoyed the bicycles and travelled the city on the early morning. Truly recommended

The hotel is located at a marvellous spot at the lake of St. Wolfgang and absolutely quiet. The servive is excellent and very friendly. They make you feel at home. We regretted very much that we could not stay longer.

Nice, quiet location, perfect view, close to lake, and only a couple of minutes by car to restaurants and center of St. Wolfgang. Friendly, helpful lady in charge of the hotel. Recommended.

Be aware that the numbering of houses is rather unusual (based on the years of construction!). So ask around rather than finding out yourself. When in Ried, locals will know where to go.

The best Pension that we have ever stayed in Europe! Perfect view of the Wolfgangsee from the balcony of the room, well equiped kitchen, comfortable bed and very friendly hotel owner (Mrs. Windhager). Strongly recommend for family and young couples.

The location is a little bit far from the town center (about 3km).

Beautiful place. Perfect location, far enough form St.Wolfgang's crowds of bus tourists, at the same time quite accessible by foot as the final point for pleasant walking along the lake. The house is very comfortable and cosy. Both apartments on the upper floor are newly renovated and have all neccessary facilities. Living area is arranged in simple but very pleasant village style. Isolated privat beach area is available for the quests, where you can enjoy the impressing tranquility. Very kind and hospitable owners provided us bicycles free of charge and greeted with home made schnapps (thanks Matilda!!!)

One crasy bird used to wake up vey early. Its roulades performance was exellent but too loud for this part of the day :))

Sehr schöne Lage am See mi wunderbarem Bergpanorama! Man kann wunderbar mit dem Schiff zu Wanderungen und Klettersteigen gelangen. Familie Windhager ist ungekünstelt herzlich und sehr hilfsbereit (Tips....). Das Willkommens-Frühstücksei eine echte Ueberraschung.
