Hotel Alpinpark is a quietly located city hotel close to the center of Innsbruck. This 4-star hotel offers modern rooms, a hotel bar, and an underground parking garage.
Score from 438 reviews Good
Set on a quiet side street of Innsbruck, this family-run hotel has a beautiful view of the nearby mountains and is within walking distance of the center of the city.
Score from 967 reviews Good
Just 5-10 minutes walk to the center. Lovely place and host and Innsbruck is a wonderful place.
Sometimes it can be difficult to reach the other side of the road (the hotel is located along a road). A zebra crossing would be a great option.
excellent reception and very helpful. great to have car parking close to the city. Good and varied breakfast
Walking distance to town. It was a clean place. Nice breakfast.
Person at front desk could have been a bit nicer to us. We needed an extra bed and she seemed put out by us.
good place to stay for low budget people. very nice people, clean an very near to the city center
Friendly staff, bed was comfortable, very clean and cozy room, beautiful view of the river, quiet and peaceful area
Location was a little far from city center (we took a cab from the Bahnhof), bathroom was very tiny
View of the river or mountain, location 20 plus minutes to centre, friendly staff
bit outdated decor
THe hotel has the most beautiful view of the Inn river and mountains. Our room faced the river so we had this view from the room. Surprisingly, although on a busy road, traffic noise wasn't an issue. The room was charming, staff were friendly, and breakfast was good. We highly recommend Heimgartl.
Not in city centre, but within walking distance through a beautiful river-side park. What's not to like?
The location is ok, about 15 mins' walk to the center. River view from the room.
The room and the facilities look pretty old. Quite noisy on the street side, even during night. Not very comfortable mattress.
It was easy to get to the hotel from the main railway station on bus D. lovely views over the river and the mountains. Good breakfast spread.
The staff were great. Very helpful and informative about sightseeing and restaurants.
The bar/tea and coffee facilities were none existent, which detracted from our experience.
The woman at the reception is accommodating.
There were flying insects inside the room.
Access to a closet full of sheets and towels...this was needed because the room was so hot (couldn't keep the window open because of street noise and insects) we needed a sheet to replace the comforter.
Called for directions from the a12 highway. Clerk gave confusing directions about 3 bridges, construction, etc. and concluded by saying, "It's a small town and everyone knows where we are. It's easy." When asked to repeat her directions she became irritated. Calling back about 30 minutes later, when we were lost, we got no answer....the desk closes at 6pm. We stopped at a Best Western where a clerk looked up the Heimgartl on Google and gave perfect directions. The Heimgartl is located very close to a busy road. Parking is minimal and those who arrive later simply block those who arrived earlier....no order at all. An envelope was left for us with instructions to enter via the dorr next to the garage. It was dark and there were two garages. The lights were difficult to locate on the multiple stairways to our room and in the hall leading to our room. The lights in these areas were on timers that went out after a few minutes plunging us into pitch blackness. It was creepy to arrive to this with no one at the desk and two sleazy types outside smoking and chatting up a cycle jockey. The wifi didn't work. I "live" online and know what I'm doing with my computer so this was a hotel problem. There was zero information about the area so we set out blindly to find a restaurant nearby (wasn't about to move the car once it got parked). This was a very negative experience.
Our host Steven was delightful. He greeted us each morning, answered our questions, gave us recommendations and checked in with us to see if we had a good day. The location was good and provided a nice walk into town along the river.
The traffic noise could be distracting and required ear plugs. The window coverings did not block out the light very well.
Staff was really nice, they gave a small portion of homemade jam when you left.
Bathroom was slightly tiny but no worries
Everything. This is a very nice hotel, at a fair price. I would stay there again.
The hotel is close to the city center, just 15min. walk and also very close to the Alpenzoo just 15min. walk. The room was a bit small but clean with a big window at the river. The staff excellent. Very good breakfast.
nothting at all.
Innkeeper and staff were super friendly, funny, informative, helpful and hospitable.
Location was great, but getting in and out of parking lot was a little dicey due to it being between two blind curves on a somewhat busy road.
A sweet and warm place to stay in Innsbruck. Just by the river side. Can take a walk into town.
But too noisy at night since it is just at the road side. Can hear car noise clearly.
People, room, breakfast. In short- everything!
+ Wonderful, staff with great sense of humor + We came in late at night and they made accommodations for us that were easy. + Allowed to park after checking out. They even gave us towels to dry off after getting rained on!
- A short walk from town that seemed much further when it started raining
Leaving keys for guests comming after check in time- excellent idea! Friendly staff and very tasty breakfast, also clean and comfortable room. We liked the hotel very much.
The hotel was delightful. It was an easy walk from the old town in a quiet area overlooking the river. The breakfasts were great and the staff was helpful.
We had a hard time connecting to the internet. And parking was a bit difficult, presumably because the hotel was full.
My room for myself , a single person, was very poor . A fair walk to most sights - on a noisy road - no restaurants or cafes handy -only breakfast available -no tea or coffee making facilities .
location, simple & lady on reception real laugh & characoter
The Staff is very nice and gentle. The dogs are welcomed. Our room was big and clean. The bathroom was clean as well.
The total price is higher if you pay with credito card (+5€). Moreover ,according to our opinion, the breakfast is quite expensive (7€ per person).
