Breakfast was fantastic. Host was very accommodating and friendly. Quad room was enormous.
A bit of a walk from the city but I knew this when I booked - so all happy.
Lovely the small waterfall near our window. High level breakfast with an incredible view through the windows
when the lobby was closed the wifi signal was very poor even behind the lobby's door
Great location for Alpen zoo!
Wifi was a little off, but other than that it was great.
We at 2 p.m., no check in, the door with a letter, open the mail was informed that next to the flower bed hidden open office to receive the keys! Themselves to occupancy (from lost passport), find the room looking for a long time, is a private hotel, 102 rooms, the windows backer 1 meters, wet ventilation! The room is small, the bathroom is smaller, turned hard! The narrow bed, the quilt is narrow, the room without WiFi, the aisle have very weak signal, the cold standing in the aisle on the Internet, need network people don't come to this hotel. The room is on the third floor, luggage to carry building, the corridor is narrow, strongly not recommended, room 1 days 100 euros is relatively expensive, credit card also received 5 euros fee! The old lady morning before admission, copy of passport, she forgot to give me, I arrived in the afternoon of Germany, in Germany for admission is found lost passport, I ran back to her hotel to retrieve a passport, let me take the time to spend money, is really miserable! Not worth very much! The time to live in extremely unhappy!
Nice staff, felt very Austrian.
Breakfast they offered, additional cost, was very good and super convenient Staff was extremely nice and made you feel at home Rooms were large and very clean Had an awesome balcony with a view
Lots of stairs and sometimes the night entrance key didn't want to work on the first couple of attempts
Spectacular views from our windows -- we were there for the first snowfall of the season and the river plus snow-covered trees with Alps in the background was beautiful. Walk to the old town was a pleasant 15-20 minute walk (not bad for two 65-plus folks) so we had the benefits of being close to the city while feeling the solitude of countryside. Staff was helpful and attentive.
Nice view over river Close enough to city centre (15 min walk) Comfortable room Good customer service
Very presentable, comfortable and excellent!!
Breakfast is not including in the price of the room
Warm reception, we have stayed here before. Excellent breakfast with homemade jams and honeys
Just 5-10 minutes walk to the center. Lovely place and host and Innsbruck is a wonderful place.
Sometimes it can be difficult to reach the other side of the road (the hotel is located along a road). A zebra crossing would be a great option.
excellent reception and very helpful. great to have car parking close to the city. Good and varied breakfast
Walking distance to town. It was a clean place. Nice breakfast.
Person at front desk could have been a bit nicer to us. We needed an extra bed and she seemed put out by us.
good place to stay for low budget people. very nice people, clean an very near to the city center
Friendly staff, bed was comfortable, very clean and cozy room, beautiful view of the river, quiet and peaceful area
Location was a little far from city center (we took a cab from the Bahnhof), bathroom was very tiny
View of the river or mountain, location 20 plus minutes to centre, friendly staff
bit outdated decor
THe hotel has the most beautiful view of the Inn river and mountains. Our room faced the river so we had this view from the room. Surprisingly, although on a busy road, traffic noise wasn't an issue. The room was charming, staff were friendly, and breakfast was good. We highly recommend Heimgartl.
Not in city centre, but within walking distance through a beautiful river-side park. What's not to like?
The location is ok, about 15 mins' walk to the center. River view from the room.
The room and the facilities look pretty old. Quite noisy on the street side, even during night. Not very comfortable mattress.
It was easy to get to the hotel from the main railway station on bus D. lovely views over the river and the mountains. Good breakfast spread.
The staff were great. Very helpful and informative about sightseeing and restaurants.
The bar/tea and coffee facilities were none existent, which detracted from our experience.
The woman at the reception is accommodating.
There were flying insects inside the room.
Access to a closet full of sheets and towels...this was needed because the room was so hot (couldn't keep the window open because of street noise and insects) we needed a sheet to replace the comforter.
Called for directions from the a12 highway. Clerk gave confusing directions about 3 bridges, construction, etc. and concluded by saying, "It's a small town and everyone knows where we are. It's easy." When asked to repeat her directions she became irritated. Calling back about 30 minutes later, when we were lost, we got no answer....the desk closes at 6pm. We stopped at a Best Western where a clerk looked up the Heimgartl on Google and gave perfect directions. The Heimgartl is located very close to a busy road. Parking is minimal and those who arrive later simply block those who arrived earlier....no order at all. An envelope was left for us with instructions to enter via the dorr next to the garage. It was dark and there were two garages. The lights were difficult to locate on the multiple stairways to our room and in the hall leading to our room. The lights in these areas were on timers that went out after a few minutes plunging us into pitch blackness. It was creepy to arrive to this with no one at the desk and two sleazy types outside smoking and chatting up a cycle jockey. The wifi didn't work. I "live" online and know what I'm doing with my computer so this was a hotel problem. There was zero information about the area so we set out blindly to find a restaurant nearby (wasn't about to move the car once it got parked). This was a very negative experience.
Our host Steven was delightful. He greeted us each morning, answered our questions, gave us recommendations and checked in with us to see if we had a good day. The location was good and provided a nice walk into town along the river.
The traffic noise could be distracting and required ear plugs. The window coverings did not block out the light very well.
Staff was really nice, they gave a small portion of homemade jam when you left.
Bathroom was slightly tiny but no worries
