Enjoy a stylish 4-star hotel with excellent service and the friendly ambiance of a traditional hotel with modern facilities. Its restaurant serves delicious regional specialties and tasty meals.

It is located in the south of Salzburg, about a mile from the city, letting you enjoy a quiet location and charming surroundings. There is a small fitness room on site. The surroundings are ideal for sports activities such as jogging, hiking, cycling, exercising on the Leopoldskroner pond with fitness exercises along the way (550 yards from the hotel), swimming etc. In winter, the ski areas can be reached easily.

Anonymous Mature couple Austria November 23, 2011	Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt, das Komfort-Zimmer war sehr geräumig, Das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine große Auswahl an Käse und diversen Aufschnitten, sehr gutes Brot und verschiedenes Gebäck, weiters Joghurt und frische Früchte. An der Kaffee-Tee-Kombinationsmaschine musste man erst seine Erfahrungen und Überraschungen sammeln - bei großem Andrang kann es dort zu Wartezeiten kommen. Gute Verkehrsverbindung in die Altstadt mit Bus Nr.5. Bei unserer Ankunft empfing uns leider eine Rauchwolke im Rezeptionsbereich - es war an diesem Tag der üblicherweise dort situierte Nichtraucherbereich ausnahmsweise als Raucherbereich umgewidmet, wie man uns dann erklärte - eine (für uns als Nichtraucher) schlechte Visitenkarte des Hotels zur Begrüßung. Dies kam im Anschluss nicht mehr vor, wobei man als Nichtraucher, um zum Frühstücksbereich zu gelangen, jeweils den Raucherbereich der Gaststube durchqueren muss, was uns persönlich sehr gestört hat. Das Zimmer war nachts überheizt und man konnte die Temperatur nicht regulieren - durch die Lage an der durchaus befahrenen Straße ist auch ein Öffnen der Fenster nachts nicht gut möglich. Weiters durchgehend ein leises Brummen (von der Lüftung/Kühlaggregat??unterhalb) hörbar. Did you find this review helpful?	8.8

Han sido muy competentes y amables. “Everything about the Bergland Hotel was terrific. The staff were friendly and helpful without exception. We got great advice from them on the best places to eat, how to use the transit system, ideas about things to do outside the city, etc. Our room was great, nice size, comfy beds, wonderful bathroom and shower, very clean and well kept. They have a small outdoor terrace on the back side (no view) where you can just relax without having to leave the hotel, and we enjoyed that very much. I would recommend this place to anyone. It is definitely worth the price. It is a bit more of a walk to the center of "Old Salzburg" than we thought it would be, that was not a problem. I recommend it to anyone! It even works for families with small children.”
