Experience a real taste of Austria with this charismatic family run hotel which dates back over 100 years. Our hotel is located in a very quiet side street near the railway station. The Convention & Congress Centre, the Exhibition & Fair Centre, the Mirabell Gardens and all other city sights of interest of the Cultural World Heritage City Salzburg are only a short walk away. You can either go on foot or take the bus which stops at the railway station.

The charming breakfast room has a cosy and intimate feel with original beamed ceilings and traditional furnishings offering a filling buffet breakfast.
You will find many different restaurants nearby.

The bedrooms are decorated in a traditional theme. The classic looking drapes and floral print further enhance the overall feel. Some of the rooms even have four-poster beds!
Rooms differ slightly in style and all rooms vary in sizes. Hand crafted furnishings give each of them a touch of individuality.

Area information

The hotel is situated in a residential area but also close to the main train and bus station, only 250 meters away. The hotel is located in a quiet side street and many bicycle lanes are very close.
A 15 minutes walk will take you to the old town and the Mirabell Gardens.

The bus number 2 will bring you to the airport.

The staff (or family in this case) was so nice and accomodating that I would definitely stay here again. It's a pretty easy walk to the hotel from the main train station, although I get lost usually my first time in every new city. Area seems safe despite some "adult-based" shops that Americans may equate with a bad neighborhood, which it is not. Hotel is adorable, by the way.

The family owned hotel had a personal touch which made a difference. Very quick with checkin. Very helpful with concert information. Near train station

I did not feel too secure in the general neighbourhood. A longish walk to town centre. Bus transport expensive.

The staff were very friendly and helpful it was very easy to get to from both the train and the airport good breakfast plenty of fruit and great bread and lovely chesse

the radio in the room do not work neither did the remote control of the TV could have had better toiletettes only soap which i can not use lucky i had got my own shower gel

The location; only a ten-minute walk to the central area.Breakfast was nice.

Rooms were too dark - decorated in brown and only a small window. A clothes washing service was advertised in the rooms but when I asked them to do mine they didn't seem interested.

We would rate this hotel of one of the best we have stayed at. It is close to the main rail and bus stations ,also good restaurants. Walking to the town centre is an easy one about 15 to 20 mins.
