Parking is limited around the Hotel and may be hard to find sometimes especially on weekends. On crowded weekends, it may be better to arrange a table reservation for the restaurant breakfast. Our room did not have air conditioning (common in many places throughout Europe). Although this may make some of you chuckle, the toilet paper was pretty rough for such a classy place...just sayin'.
The hotel is very nice situated on a hill overlooking St. Gilgen. It is just a short walk down peaceful streets into town. The hotel is well equipped with a very nice restaurant, indoor pool, spa treatment center and a conference center. We had a room with a private balcony overlooking the town with a background view of the lake and mountains. The property was well kept and clean. Water ferries are available to cruise around the lake and buses available to go to Salzburg, so if you are driving in, you can park your car and use all of the other transportation to get around. Go; have a good time!
