Rooms are large and very clean including the bathrooms. Breakfast was impressive. Restaurant Staff very friendly and engaging with the guests.
Rooms are not soundproof and we had the one right under the restaurant. There was a large group of people up there making noise all night long. We called to complain and ask for a new room and told ok, but not when or where to meet the person with the new key. Only until the next morning did we find out there was a lack of communication and we could have had our new room sooner. A bit frustrating to have to move all our stuff after not much sleep.
The facilities were exceptional, but the staff was truly outstanding as everyone provided personal attention to every detail. The included half-pension meal plan was unbelieveable! The breakfasts were rich and generous with a wide selection offered. But, the evening meal was astounding. There was a multiple course menu including many chef prepared selection. My two dinners were truly the finest cuisine of my three week journey. All of this was offered for an unbelievablely law cost!
Directions to the property should be more detailed, especially for those arriving by rail. While the walk to and from the property from central Lienz is just a bit of a hike, I suggest hiring a taxi from the train station (5 Euros) as the walk is almost entirely uphill, a real challenge with any baggage.
Had an extremely pleasant stay at this gorgeous hotel for two nights. We were lucky enough to be received by Maria who looked after us throughout our stay with most enthusiasm and a personal touch. Thank you
Very modern apt, top appliances and in style furnishing, great view from big windows. Call it a home more than a hotel. Stephanie was a great assistance for whatever we ask for.
Very big and modern rooms.Quite cheap in the summer. Well equipped. Very helpful Staff. Beautiful mountain view around the hotel.
Friendly and helpful staff. Accommodating to motorcycles. 15 minute walk to fun town. Big shower.
For the price, was expecting bigger room.
The kindness of the personal, the closeness to the Zettersfeld lift and the delicious meals impressed me the most. If somebody likes hiking, this hotel is a perfect starting-point for scenic hiking trips in the Schobergruppe.
Unfortunately, there were lots of flies in the dining room, on the breakfast meals, too.
Nice facilities. Good restaurant. Spacious, clean rooms.
Front desk staff kept me waiting for a long time (my room key stopped working) while they took a phone call. Seemed like poor training. Wifi was very slow.
Modern design which combines bright colors with traditional Tyrolean themes Delicious breakfast buffet included in price Very friendly and welcoming staff Quiet rooms
Apartment was excellent, cleanliness and politness of (most) of the staff. Maria was outstanding! We forgot something in the hotel - it was not a problem to get it sent by the hotel without postal charges!!
Absence of owner family creates a laissez faire athmosphere within some members of the staff. While some are very professional others talk too loud in front of the guests about their private lives, and one of the waiters does not keep a professional distance to the guests.
There is no air condition , many insects gets inside the room when i open the window because there is no cover for window , i dont recommend this hotel in summer because of insects. No reception after 11 pm
A great hotel in a charming small town that gives perfect access to the mountains. The hotel restaurant is exceptionally good. The staff here is incredibly nice.
Nothing, my stay was perfect.
Everything about the hotel. Staff were brilliant. Even though we arrived late and the restaurant was finished serving, the bar man arranged for a lovely bacon sandwich for us, this was greatly appreciated, thank you. The apartment was very very good with a full bathroom. After 600 miles on a motorbike that day, this was like an oasis. Brilliant
This is a stunning hotel with very modern and spacious rooms. I wished that I stayed for longer. Food was also great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Great value.
Very nice and spacious rooms. Good food. Nice and helpful staff. Quiet location and in the winter very convient to the skiing area
The staff was absolutely wonderful ... Maria went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay ... so much so that we changed another booking to return to this hotel for another night. Would happily recommend this wonderful lodging in a beautiful and accessible area to all those visiting Austria!
We rented an apartment and it was enormous with huge sliding doors and spectacular view. Very modern and clean with great mini kitchen with dishes etc. Breakfast buffet and dinner were delicious. Staff was warm and helpful. Location is a bit outside of town but great for hiking or skiing (at lift) and can easily walk to town. You are in nature here. There are lots of closets and drawers. big bathroom with separate toilet room. Great shower.
This place is awesome. There is nothing to dislike. Can even walk (or ski) a nature path over to the Haidenhof Hotel for another gourmet dinner.
Next door to Cable car to ski resort, good sauna, the whole hotel is nice, new and clean. Well equipped kitchen in the appartments (microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, espresso machine)
For the price they shouldn´t charge money for supplying extra tee, coffee capsels and dishwasher tabs into appartements. Charging 30 EUR for final cleaning after departure in a 4-star hotel-type facility where you pay 130 EUR per night for two is not really fair.
Cleanliness, excellent location close to the lift.
- Cash machine!!! - I missed some other apres-ski abr except the one pub close to the lift station. - Some alimentary shop that is walking distance.
Ladies at the reception were really very nice and helpful. Ski room just right in front of the hotel exit.
Missing a better equiped wellness, some pool or jacuzzi at least.
We stayed one week with our 2 little children. Overall, the hotel was very good. Big And comfortable rooms. SPA is small but very clean and have different facilities (sauna, sanarium, steam bath vs).
The hotel is in front of the cable car however, it takes 15 min. To go up to the slopes with cable car.
New facilities, clean rooms and common facilities, nice spa and food in the restaurant pretty good.
They gave us a room which was exactly under restaurant, which meant that all day long we had noise in the room, we could hear people, tables, chairs moving, really annoying. Before having dinner we asked to change a room as soon as we finish dinner, we came back to the reception after we finished to find it closed... Whithout no one notifying us. Needless to say that next morning we left, even if our reservation was for one more night. The rooms are spacy and new but they lack in style and they feel a bit cold. The location is good only if you want to ski, as the hotel is in front of the lifts, apart from that there is nothing else close by, the town itself is nothing special. Not going back there even if it was half priced...
The location was perfect
The breakfast was not expansive They charged me extra for my 3 yrs girl who uses the same bedding.
