ordered a capuccino in the breakfast had to pay an extra charge for it! lack of sports facilities
Excellent welcoming, everything ready for confirming and signing. Room ready 2 hours ahead of time. Excellent Breakfast with wide range of fresh produce and lively atmosphere.
Lively atmosphere means that sometimes you have to wait a few minutes to get attention from one of the excellent waiters.
Convenient situation, good breakfasts, quiet rooms.
Low wifi in some rooms.
Great central location and very close to the shops and Museums Quarter. Late checkout at 4pm was a great benefit giving us an extra half day sight seeing in Vienna.
We stayed for 3 nights at the hotel and ate in the hotel restaurant on the first night. The staff were very helpful despite the restaurant being very busy, however the menu items were very expensive and the portion sizes very small indeed. So all in all very poor value for money. Tip: Eat out at the 'Gmoa Keller' inn only about 300m from the hotel. Superb atmosphere, authentic Austria food at great prices!
it was our second time in this hotel. beds are comfortable, and the rooms were clean and nice. friendly and really helpful staff good location
the bar in the hotel - staff was friendly though we had to wait a lot of time to get what we ordered, if we got that at all. last time we waited 45 minutes and still didn't get anything, so we left the bar
Overall the hotel was great and centrally located.
The climate control in the room was not functioning and so the room would get hot. There was only one window in the room that opened slightly and so it was not enough to cool the room down.
Excellent staff, comfortable room, clean, reliable WiFi.
Bed too soft and overused, A/C doesn't work well, breakfast is expensive, WiFi is slow.
Location is good.
The hotel was fully prepaid but the staff at the reception wanted preauthorization for extras. They blocked some money from the credit card and wrote down the numbers of the card, which is not aloud to do. The smell at the toilet was bad. The staff internet was poor and didnt work most of the time. The staff at the restaurant was unpleasant. We stayed at this hotel the last time. Also, the price is very expensive for this hotel.
Almost every thing was excellent, Julia at reception was incredibly sweet and professional. Room size, facilities, toiletries, towels are excellent. Location is few steps from tram and short walk from underground.
A/c needs proper attention, the room would be very warm if it wasn't for the window. Mattress is beyond its serviceable life. A little more coffee, tea, sugar would be nice.
Location is Excellent.Walking distance to StephanPlatz Breakfast and Food is great. Staff very professional. This is my 3rd time to stay in the same Hotel.
garage is small
- this hotel isn´t level ****!!! "maybe" level ***
Overall fantastic and staff are truly exceptional!
We like the proximity with Concert Hall and Opera as well as center. We like also the professionalism of the staff. A lot of progresses have been made ! keep ahead !
To have to leave after 3 excellent nights !
Staff, especially your trainee at the reception desk, Maria. Her upbeat nature, great smile and helpfulness set the tone for the stay. From then on all was viewed from a positive perspective. We didn't sample the food but everything else was fine. Great location. We could walk to everything we wanted to see with the time that we had. For the rest we took a city tour, walking to the tour location.
The room was a bit small and the shower inconvenient. It was difficult to shower without washing down the entire room. It would have been preferred that a breakfast buffet be included in the room rate.
Way too expensive breakfast!
Great place to stay. Good location. Very clean rooms. Friendly staff. I would surely return and recomment it to other people.
Great location. Klimt design was a plus. The staff was courteous.
We stayed twice in the hotel-in arrival for two days and after returning from Budapest. In general, our first two nights were very good, but upon our return the hotel was full to capacity and they just could not handle it. Our room was barely done. We were there four 4 nights and five days, and they never refilled the mini bar. We had to call tine and again for toiletry supplies. They honestly tried, but I don't think they had enough staff to handle the amount of people. As a matter of fact, one of the really nice front desk lady- had to bring our luggage. The CONCIERGE needs to go back for more training. It is as if asking him for assistance annoyed him. He himself brings the ratings down. In sum, I think it was probably bad timing for us, but the hotel is in a great location and the front desk staff was kind and helpful. Pricewise I think you get your money's worth.
Great location. Close to but not in the center.
WiFi was very slow.
Very romantic and cosy hotel! We love hotel design and the Klimt art on bedroom wall! Comfortable bed and pillows indeed. Love coffee table in the hotel with the kettle and great teas selections. Bathroom shower could be stronger, but we love music stereo from tv in a shower room - very entertaining!!! :D Breakfast was very deliscious - very tasty omelette indeed!!! A lot of choice and delicious food!!! For those who complain about expensive breakfast - all breakfast in hotels are quite pricey, but its more comfortable to eat breakfast at hotel, get ready, and start exploring the city with the full belly! Excellent hotel location! Only 5 minutes walking to Belvedere palace! Vienna metro close to the hotel as well, so you reach Schloss Shhonbrunn palace with 10 minutes. Wifi signal was good in the hotel and reception was very friendly to us! Would definitely recommend this hotel to the friend!
Bathroom shower could be stronger.
-big beds -very good location (walking distance from the Stephan's Dom, public transport, taxi is right on the corner)
- the bar (food was awful, waiter was nor really on the ball)
I liked the close distance to the city, wonderful breakfast choices and restaurant staff who delivered good service. Female reception staff were very professional, helpful and pleasant.
Even though I asked, I did not receive any assistance with 3 pieces of luggage, which I could not move on my own at once. Not helpful, not courteous, very disappointing.
The staff were extremely helpful from giving us directions, recommending where to eat, booking tickets and even helped us to vote in our NZ general elections. The bed was heavenly!
The shower over the bath was hard to use with the shower head too close to the wall and getting out of the bath very difficult.
The courteous staff, the location.
You need a little more of a system during breakfast service times.
