Hotel Alpenblick is a friendly hotel and has some of the best views in Bad Gastein; the fantastic view includes the valley and the Alps.

It also caters for winter sports and year-round recreation, as well as having a thermal spring and swimming pool set on its landscaped grounds.

With 270 ski lifts and cable cars, Ski amadé is one of Europe’s largest winter sports regions and its largest combined ski area. It comprises 5 big ski areas (Salzburger Sportwelt, Schladming-Dachstein, Gastein, Hochkönig and Großarltal) with a total of 28 ski resorts in the states of Salzburg and Styria. The major resorts are Bad Gastein, Bad Hofgastein, Radstadt and Flachau in Salzburg, and Schladming and Ramsau in Styria. Most resorts are linked either by ski lifts or by free shuttle buses. Glacier skiing is possible on the Dachstein Glacier well into summer.

Mycket trevlig och gästvänlig personal som verkligen gör "allt" för att man skall trivas under sin vistelse på Alpenblick. Poolen var varm och låg med ett perfekt läge så att man kunde se ut över dalen och bergen. Helt nyrenoverad spa avdelning med dusch och bastu, termalbad med hög mysfaktor. Anonymous Solo traveler Austria August 4, 2012	Das Badezimmer war sehr schön und sauber, die Aussicht war atemberaubend und das Frühstücksbüffet hat wirklich alle Erwartungen übertroffen, war äußerst angebotsreich und von bester Qualität. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und es herrscht eine sehr familiäre Atmosphäre. Der Ein- und Ausstieg in die Dusche/Badewanne war vielleicht doch etwas schwieriger. Anonymous Solo traveler Finland July 10, 2012	Kauniit näkymät hieman ylempää rinteeltä Bad Gasteinin laaksoon. Lyhyt matka poluille ja luontoon. Hyvä monipuolinen aamupala ja ruoka. Lounaspaketin sai kohtuulliseen hintaan mukaansa vaelluksille. Hyvä juomakelpoinen vesi suoraan hanasta! Pieni puutarha uima-altaalla oli kiva lisä. Jäin ihmettelemään ns. uskomushoitojen tarjontaa.
