Good location in the city. staff friendly and helpful. Lobby and bar well decorated the hotel is based over 2 buildings. The primary hotel building is extremely nice. We were at the top of the second building, on the fifth floor which was only accessible by lift. the bedroom was extremely small , there only being room to sit on the bed. The ceiling was approximately 8ft high. the smell of smoke from the pub attached downstairs polluted the room. due to remote location of the room the bed was never made up until after 2 pm. We were paying the same rate as colleagues staying in the main hotel with rooms twice the size . Very disappointing |

Location, location, location (en français: emplacement): top. The interior design of the hotel is nice (furniture), and the room was quite large, and the bathroom very spacious, and well equipped. The main drawback is (by and large) the appalling level of service. It is nowhere near a 4 star hotel, not even close to 3 star. Not only they are too few, but they all seemed either lost or plainly uncooperative. They appear young and inexperienced. Check-in with a car was a trauma as the valet parking (btw very expensive) was absent-minded and slow. Basic concierge tasks (map indications) are impossible. No-one had a clue how the room safe operated ! etc etc... In addition, cleaning of the room was very superficial & approximative: dust in corners, hair in the bathtub and bed (and not ours!)... |

The location was perfect to visit the old town. The room was clean and comfortable. Oddly enough there was a problem so we did not have hot water the first day. The problem was fixed the next day. |

Staff. Car Parking expensive. You could [if you wanted to] find and provide cheaper solution. Coffee & tea facilities in room would also be a bonus. |

We loved the old style dates back to the 1300s. Very classy, comfortable, wonderful position in the Old Town, close to everything. Disappointed that breakfast was unaffordable and that the internet did not work for the 3 days of our stay |

The location of the hotel was first class, right in the middle of the old town of Salzburg, and within walking distence of all the sites. Also the staff where very pleasent and helpful. I will diffently stay at the Hotel Altstadt Radisson SAS again whwn I return to Salzburg. |

The hotel is good in general and the best thing is the location which is great. I like this hotel in particular & this is the second time stying in this hotel, the first was 2 years ago in excutive room but this time I have taken a suite, but I think exective room is much more big compare to the suite we given. the hotel managment must stop the load music that played every midnight from the pup down we couldn’t sleep because of this noisy music |

Very convenient location, city center. Nice old building. Front desk staff's very poor performance-ranging from bad manners to open hostility and incompetence. Room's heating was not adequate to the day's hour. Room cleaning was scheduled at inconvenient hours. |

Location and size of the rooms. Staff are not very professional in standard to a 5 star hotel. It took me about 40 mins to check out because the front desk didn't know hot to take the payment from the pre-authorization they already did when I checked in and wanted to make a new payment which I refused cause they will keep holding my money for about a week. Staff are all young and friendly but not well trained. |

Deluxe rooms were very big. Hotel is beautifully finished and furnished. Fantastic location. Helpful staff. Too hot inside hotel. Our room was over a noisy alley way - pub below open till 4am! Had to shut window at night to sleep which made room very warm and stuffy. Breakfast nice but quite pricey at 22 Euros. |

Location of hotel excellent - at end of Judengasse near Mozartplatz in the Old City. The Deluxe Room was really a suite, well furnished and quite comfortable with many coneniences. Parking is an issue. Space near the hotel is at a premium, if available at all, and one must be creative to have ready access to one's auto (if intending to use it during stay) without exhorbitant parking charges or waiting for staff to retrieve the vehicle. A minor inconvenience - the in-room coffee maker did not work (for $245 a night it really should have). On balance though, a great hotel! |

Location Check in staff were very poor, we would have exüpected a higher level of service from this hotel. Our room was hot with no airconditioning, the staff provided a mobile unit when requested, however it was so noisy we couldnt sleep. Price of the hotel was very high for what they provided. Also left something in the room, rang the hotel and they claimed they had not found it. Would not recomend |
