location is good. there are several supermarkets nearby. free coffee/tea/cakes in the lobby no wifi in the room. It is extrmely inconvinient that we need to get a new wifi password every 30 mins to surf internet in the lobby; furtiniture is quite old, bed , tv , toilet ,everything. the TV is of early 90s. The toilet is clean, however, it gives you a feeling that you're staying in a youth hostel, not a 3-start hotel. It's just like a poor room, but with functioning and clean facilities. The towels are quite old and become yellow. no aircondioning system. it was extremely warm those days. toliet paper is cheapest one offered on market. The hotel manager should realize that they're operating a 3-star hotel, earning money in this way is not gonna work out. the overhead board above the bed is too low. people can easily get hurt. The safe is complicated to use. You need to read through the instruction every time. The lift is staggering. The floor in the lift is already broken. They forgot to clean our room. The shower cabin is extremely small. To bend your body to wash your lower body, you even need to open the cabin door, because the space is very narrow. No littble bottles of showergels. the breakfast should vary a bit everyday. Anway, you feel more like staying in a hostel not in a hotel, not a 3-star hotel.

I like the Am Augarten hotel because the staff were friendly and helpful. It is easy to get to the city centre and a quiet spot close to Parklands and children's Playground. I was frustrated with the internet connection as it took me sometime to go through the steps with Swisscom to have my interent set up. I also have problem with my door and I was moved to another room.Otherwise I was very happy with my stay at Am Augarten.

We thought the staff were exceptional especially the dinning room girl and the reception boys. They were helpful and friendly as we spoke no Austrian they went out of there way to help us get around . we enjoyed our stay and would reccommend this hotel. The breakfasts were the best of our whole trip.

Very convenient with public transport and not far from the center. Rooms on the left hand side too noisy from the road. Shower not good as the waters spreads all over the bathroom, so you have very wet floors.

This Hotel is quite surprising. Its extremely comfortable and very clean. It is a five minute walk to the underground and then two stops from Stephensplatz( the main meeting place in Vienna). It located on a quiet street that has its own cafes and restaurants close by. It is also close to a chemist, supermarket and a cosmetic shop. Its not the ritz but its great value for money. They have a lovely self service bar where you can help yourself to coffee and cake all day. The hotel is extremely warm. We had to sleep with the window open all night. Not a deal breaker but we were there in the winter I cannot imagine what it would be like in the summer months.

The hotel had that old Austrian charm. It really was very pretty. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bedrooms were well sized and bathrooms were very big. There was quite a bit of noise coming off the street. We had to sleep with our window closed, but could still hear cars, people shouting and dogs. Would nevertheless stay there again though. The good definitely outweighs the bad.

Perfect location to go anywhere in Vienna. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast, helpful staff. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They give you more than in the bigger hotels and do more for you as a tourist. They made me feel welcome and safe. Highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was exellent with a lot of food and selfservice! The room was very very clean! The staff was very helpfull! I really like it ! it worths for the price and the location is near the tram line nr 2 and the metro line u2! You can go to city centet stephanplats within 25 min on walk. The hotel its near augarteb park and the most thing that I liked the most was the fact that was 10min on walk from prater amusement park! 1-The price of the internet using their computer on the lobby bar 2-the price of pay per veiw tv

Service was friendly and good quality. Location is very good - close to city center and Parter park, near few metro stations and walking distance railwaystation with 30 min connection to airport. Free internet connection is available only at lobby area, price for room internet is very high. I had a problem to set-up my wi-fi connection with internet provider.

Hotel is well comunicated with the city center. Staff is friendly and helpful, there was no problem with changing room during my stay. Wi-fi is only in hotel lobby and aviable fo 30 min! After that you have to enter another password! That was very unconivinent. In my opinin access to internet should be everywhere and without time limits.

The room was big relatively to hotels in other large cities in Europe. The breakfast was great and the location was close to the public transportation. The room was clean and tidy. Great value for money. There was no wifi in rooms only at the lobby, and only for 30 minutes.

Nice place in an out of the way location. Restaurant area was charming, pity it is only used for breakfast. No air-conditioning, expensive internet, staff not too good with English. The area is a bit seedy, with brothels close by. Wouldn't take kids there.

The temperature in my room was insane!! Despite asking for the heating to be turned down or off, I slept with the window open every night and no quilt for 4 nights as the room was simply far too hot! Was shame as the room was very spacious and very clean, but this did let the hotel down.

Perfectly fine for the price paid, clean, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, nice staff. It's not luxury category - which you wouldn't expect for the price - the shower may have been a bit small, the selection of TV channels and their quality might have been a bit better - but I don't think this is really much to worry about.
