Hotel An Der Wien  

Since my night train from Munich to Wien Huffeldorfer, Hotel staff are very nice and let us to have early check in at 6am. Very good service. Room is good and comfort. Room price incl. "Rich buffet breakfast" is very good. More, there a big supermarket on the left hand side of Hotel An Der Wien (around 100m walking), and S-Bahn/U-Bahn train station is near. We can reach everywhere of Wien easily.

I liked everything at this hotel, but especially the kindness of the receptionists.The room was small (this is not a surprise in Europe) but spotless clean.The breakfast buffet wonderful and served in an elegant room. A metro station just in front of the hotel allowed us to reach downtown Vienna in 15 minutes and Shonnbrunn Palace and the zoo only four stops away. Train for the outskirts of Vienna also left from that station, so we could easily go to Grinzing one night. Being the station so close I expected the room to be noisy, but double windows with double glass panels solved the problem. The only negative.....no nice view from the window!

The hotel is very nice and it is located on about 1 minute walking from Metro station, which is great. You can visit Vienna and stay and nice and comfortable place

The interior in the rooms is very nice.

The parking zone is very small, we hardly could find a place.

Very friendly and helpful English-speaking staff. Clean room, very clean, updated bathroom. Location at the edge of Vienna city limits is actully very good for visiting in the Wienerwald / Vienna Woods region west of the city. Also, location at the Huetteldorf train station [obb / S-Bahn] and end-station of the u4 U-Bahn line make it very useful and easy for travellers using the excellent Vienna public transportation. Free wi-fi internet connection is very dependable! Excellent breakfast buffet. Very quiet - good windows.

Our room did not have a writing desk.

Hotel's location is extremely convenient if you travel by car (5-10 min from A1 highway and very easy to find); underground station (U4) is nearby and you can reach city centre in 15 min. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Plus: free private parking, free internet in rooms, air- conditioning. Rooms are very comfortable and spotless clean. It is obviously not a boutique hotel, but I warmly recommend it.

The hotel is located far away from the main city. The breakfast is good but needs some changes.

Great location - next to Train station and conveniently connected to city center by train. Nice and clean rooms(slightly small), great breakfast and hospitable staff. Lady at Reception gave practical advise on sight seeing, which was very useful. Great Value for Money. You can safely go for it. Request for a room which is not towards train station side as some times, it can get noisy.

By Vienna standards, the hotel represents excellent value. Accomodation, staff, cleanliness and location are all first class. Will certainly visit again.
