Hotel Bristol Salzburg

The location of this hotel is excellent. Almost right next to the Mirabell Gardens and a very short walk to the river. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are nice and very large, but just be aware that this is an older hotel, and the rooms are not very modern. Perhaps a good hotel if you want a flashback to the glitz of olden day Europe.

This hotel was splendid! Georgeous, elegant, chandelier laden. Our room was very large, beautifully furnished, and had a separate entrance hall. The only sounds were the bells of Salzburg. The staff gave us their personal attention in general, and also spent an enormous amount of time and ingenuity sorting out a problem we had with our later travel arrangements. This hotel is better than 5 star hotels I have stayed in elsewhere in the world, including in London. Its location is outstanding - across the road one is in old Salzburg.

The people who worked in thr reception were very very kind. They helped as much as they could, including their manager. Food was excellent, and so the room cleaning and location. We enjoyed very much.

The Bristol is an elegant hotel that has aged gracefully. Our room was well sized and tastefully decorated, an exceptional bathroom, a first class breakfast, great view, character elevators, considerate staff and a perfect location. Of all the hotels we stayed in during our recent vacation, and there were some excellent ones, we ranked Bristol the best. Salzburg is a beautiful city to visit and a stay at the Bristol will make it memorable.

dilapidated, worn, in great need of renovation -cost in excess of 500 us dollars per night there was no value - next hotel on trip was the imperial wien - outstanding at less cost - bristol salzburg was a very unpleasant experience

They don't have own garage

This is a historic hotel that has retained its old world charm but has upgraded the facilities most essential to comfort (ie, the airconditioning is powerful and the bathroom is modern). Breakfast service is excellent with a wide selection of hot and cold items that are refilled often and not allowed to "run out"; staff is attentive and friendly. The front desk is extremely efficient. The location was perfect for us--5 minutes away from the railstation by cab, but very close to the heart of the old town (right across a pedestrian bridge). The hotel is in a square fronting Mozart's residence and adjacent to the Mirabell gardens. It is a 3-minute walk to the meeting point of Panorama (which offers Sound of Music and Eagle's Nest tours).

There is free internet acess at the lobby, but no free WIFI in the rooms.

The hotel was fantastic in every perspective. We were treated very well by all staff, who were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The room was the cleanest we have ever stayed in.

It isa impossible to find falut. Truely a 5-star experience

This traditional hotel has a wonderful atmosphere. It is perfectly situated, is quiet and has an excellent restaurant. Its staff are very polite and very efficient.
