Room is too small Furniture is too old Bed is small
Great location. Helpful staff at front desk.
Very small hotel room. Not the best value for room rate paid.
We really enjoyed our four night stay in this old-style hotel. We had a large, gracious room. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located. It is within easy reach of the old town but away from the noisy crowds.
bed is moving on the wooden floor :)
The ambiance of the room, the dining room, the staff, etc.
The church bells ringing at 7.00.too early for holiday makers.??
They have everything that you may need in a room.
The room was the standard deluxe room and They have way too much furniture on it.
Loved the breakfast, as the staff was pleasant and helpful each morning and the food was delicious!

Gorgeous views, very very clean, beautiful room. Right by a church and Mirabell gardens.
No one told me where the breakfast was served. Didn't find it until last day of my stay. Beds are not comfortable.
Classic, old world charm!
Very welcoming hotel with a lot of charm that you just don't find in a modern hotel. The staff were so friendly especially the breakfast crew in the dining room. We have a young toddler and nothing was too much trouble for these guys. We will definatly stay here again if we are ever lucky enough to return to this beautiful city.
Nothing it's a great hotel.
Hotel Bristol is around the block from the Mirabell Gardens and across the street from the house where Mozart lived. A very short walk to the center of town.
Beds were hard. Hubby says it was like sleeping on a pool table!
Stayed at a Junior suite for 2 nights. The view was fantastic. Breakfast was excellent. The bedroom and bathroom was large. The staff was kind.
The bathtub was clogged. It's very difficult to get in the shower. There was not enough staff. One person did valet parking, bell boy, and maintenance.
- a hotel with historical stories - authentic Austrian style of interiors - breakfast served by very kind staff
-The bell boy could not speak in English. All staff doesn't speak English -Too expensive, not cost effective - wifi not reached fully to the room I stayed in
Hotel Bristol is a lovely hotel converted from a one time palace. The hotel maintains it charm and beauty. The staff was very professional, friendly, and helpful.
The only complaint we had, which was not the fault of the hotel, was the extreme amount of construction going on around the city center which made it extremely difficult to reach the hotel.
Everything- the location, service and rooms were terrific.
Price is high so this is a splurge.
excellent location, wonderful view of the castle, nice breakfast and friendly staff
From the moment you arrived you felt were looked after as their personal guests. The welcome was warm and friendly and we were given all the information we needed to make the most of our short stay. This was really appreciated after a week of travelling around elsewhere and having to waste valuable time searching out information for ourselves. The hotel is spotless and the breakfast is great. We were a family group of six so decided to get a driver to show us the countryside around Salzburg, which the hotel arranged for us within a quarter of an hour notice- truly impressive. They anticipated our needs and made it a memorable stay to this lovely location. Thank you.
We loved the location near the center of the town. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Our room was nicely appointed and very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. We would stay here again and recommend it to other travelers.
Lovely location. Tastefully done up decor. Excellent staff. They made my wife's birthday special.
Breakfast could have been better.

Beautiful with highly responsive staff. Everything luxury!
good old Bar
The location of the hotel is great, convenient to everything. Although it is on a very busy street where buses stop right outside the hotel to anywhere you want to go, it was very quiet inside the hotel. Breakfast was wonderful. The room was well designed, with the closet and the bathroom in the entry way, not in the room itself, so that when I took a shower while my husband was still sleeping, I did not disturb him. The room and the bathroom were large. The heated towel rack came in handy for hand washing laundry. The wifi reception was good and we were able to watch TV programs on our iPad without any problem.
The hotel is somewhat old fashioned in that you lock your door and the room safe with keys. The room safe was too small to lock up our iPad. The hotel is decorated somewhat wierdly. For example, even though the room was very elegant, there were silly dog pictures on the walls and the room where we had breakfast had paneling like in a lodge combined with crystal chandeliers. The staff never offered any help with planning our activities.
Everything was great!
