This luxurious 5-star hotel is directly on the Ringstrasse boulevard in the heart of Vienna, right next to the famous Musikverein Building. Inaugurated in 1873 by Emperor Francis Joseph, it features a gourmet restaurant and a rooftop fitness center with a sauna. The elegant, air-conditioned rooms have parquet or carpet floors, and a sound system with a CD player and an extra-large TV. Bathrobes and slippers are available in the spacious marble bathrooms. Decorative elements include silk walls and precious antiques. Restaurant Imperial serves award-winning Austrian cuisine. Café Imperial features a summer terrace and offers classic Viennese coffee and pastries, including the famous Imperialtorte (cake). At the Maria Theresia bar, guests can enjoy a wide range of cocktails and other drinks, as well as live piano music every day. A wide range of massage and beauty treatments is available. The entire hotel, including rooms and bathrooms, is accessible for disabled guests. A business center with a computer and a printer is provided, and wired internet access is available in the entire hotel. The Musikverein (concert hall), site of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra’s New Year’s Concert, is right behind Hotel Imperial. Karlsplatz subway station is a short walk away, and the State Opera and the Kärntner Straße shopping street can be reached with a 5 minute walk. Our stay at the hotel, 2 nights, was supposed to be the most luxurious moment of our 10 day holiday. It has something of a palace, their breakfast is outstanding, the room is spacious and luxurious and the location is suburb! The staff mislead us several times: Firstly, we asked their assistance to get tickets for a classical concert. They dared to charge us eur 63,- more, as a handling fee. We didn't pay, but for a luxurious hotel as The Imperial, it looked like a rip-off. Also, one of the reception staff looked at me if I was the criminal. Secondly, there is a bad internet connection (they even dare to charge eur 19,- /24h for 512mb only) and the total overall has definitely not given us the feeling it is worth the stay. A shame, as we heard good stories about this hotel...

Hartelijk welkom.Kregen een upgrade,konden al in de voormiddag op de kamer.Als attentie voor onze huwelijksreis stond een fles champagne gekoeld in een ijsemmer klaar tegen de avond! Heerlijk ontbijt,in alle rust. Schitterend gelegen achter de Musikverein en op 300 m van de opera. Geen Belgische krant beschikbaar; Internettoegang te betalen aan 20 euro/dag.

L'amabilité du personnel. Le confort de la chambre (avons été spontanément surclassé) afin de pouvoir rajouter un lit d'appoint. Room service à la hauteur de l'établissement. Situation centrale pour visiter le centre historique à pieds. Proximité du métro. Propreté irréprochable. Pas de wifi gratuit, dommage pour un établissement de ce niveau.

Läksime hotelli juba ennem lõunat ja saime kohe toa. Väga paindlikud sisseregistreerimis aegadega.Hea teenindus. Tuppa toodi komme ja mandariine. Väga puhas ja vaikne. Hea asukoht. Wi-Fi on väga, väga kallis. Imelik natuke, sellises hotellis ja sellisel ajal peaks juba igal pool olema Wi-Fi tasuta. Hommikusöök natuke kesine 5* kohta.

房间我订的是豪华间真心很美！宛如Sisi公主宫殿一般 洗手间有点旧了 对一家一晚500欧且接待过英女王的酒店来说那个浴盆落水下水也太慢了吧!

старинное здание в номере очень плохая звукоизоляция, слышно как ходят по коридору и хлопают двери соседних номеров( ощущение что кто-то вошел в твой номер). также очень слышно звонки соседних номеров.... в таком отеле должно быть тихо...... за два дня два раза не было горячей воды.
