This luxurious 5-star hotel is directly along the Ringstrasse in the heart of Vienna. Inaugurated in 1873 by Emperor Francis Joseph, it features a gourmet restaurant and a rooftop spa. The elegant, air-conditioned rooms have soundproof windows, parquet floors, and a sound system with a CD player and an extra-large TV. Bathrobes and slippers are available in the spacious marble bathrooms. Decorative elements include silk walls and precious antiques. Restaurant Imperial serves award-winning Austrian cuisine. Café Imperial offers classic Viennese coffee and pastries, including the famous Imperialtorte cake. At the Maria Theresia bar, guests can enjoy a wide range of cocktails and other drinks, as well as live piano music every day. Hotel Imperial’s modern health club on the sixth floor features a sauna and a fitness center. A wide range of massage and beauty treatments is available. The entire hotel, including rooms and bathrooms, is accessible for disabled guests. The Musikverein concert hall, site of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra’s New Year’s Concert, is right behind Hotel Imperial. The hotel is perfectly situated on the Ring in the centre of town only 300 metres from the Opera. The staff and concierge are highly trained/skilled and service is almost instantaneous. I had my tastiest Vienna Schnitzel ever in their cafe. Taxis are summoned immediately from the nearby rank. The room was large with high ceilings and beautifully furnished and the bed, when converted from 2 singles to a king, was extremely comfortable. My only complaint is the wifi service which simply did not work after logging in from room 203 meaning I had to go to the business centre on the Mezzanine every time I accessed the net for e-mails, travel info. etc. At 9 euros per hour this adds 18 euros per day to the stay. Why does the occasional hotel still insist on treating this communication medium as a privilege for which you must pay rather than what it is, an essential fact of life in the 21st century which has all but replaced the telephone.

Very high class hotel, central location old world charm Breakfast is not up to par for this kind or hotel - paisties are not morning baked and some juices are not fresh. Skip hotel breakfast.

Great historical hotel, wonderful room with superb bed and linen (we slept till 10am and overslept conference opening :-)), good concierge and valet service, great bathroom amenities, free mandarines and chocolate served in room etc. Modest breakfast menue, should be more choice and variety

Výborná poloha v centru města, vedle Musikverein, kousek od opery, nákupní třídy a v docházkové vzdálenosti od většiny památek. Velmi luxusní prostředí, nádherné, prostorné pokoje. Výborná hotelová restaurace. Personál (především na recepci) byl poměrně ve spěchu, nervní. Na svých cestách jsem bydlel v mnoha luxusních hotelech a ve srovnání s nimi toto byla jedna z nejslabších zkušeností v této kategorii, kde se očekává poněkud více, obzvláště, pokud bookuji 3 pokoje na 2 noci. Ostatní personál byl v pořádku. Také jsem do hotelu poslal mail s dotazem ohledně bezlepkové diety. Když po týdnu nikdo neopověděl, poslal jsem další dotaz na concierge - rovněž zůstal další týden bez odpovědi (nedošla dodnes).

Dieses Hotel bietet wirklich alles was man sich auch als verwöhnter Hotelgast wünschen kann: Luxus, beste Lage,freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal,Gemütlichkeit, wunderschönes Ambiente. Ein Hotel der Superlative !!! Es gibt wirklich nichts ,was man kritisieren kann oder uns nicht gefallen hätte.

Su ubicacion y sus instalaciones El personal de recepcion y servicio equipajes. Pasaban de nosotros y solo pretendian vendernos paquetes turisticos de visita a la ciudad. Un hotel de 5 estrellas luxury debe tener en recepcion alguien que atienda en castellano.

Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum von Wien. Von da aus sind die schönsten Museen, die Oper, die Hofreitschule, ect. In Kürze zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind nicht renoviert und sehr angestaubt.

Очень высокая цена для данного типа гостиницы, я думаю стоимость ее должна быть в несколько раз ниже. Я не рекомендую в ней останавливаться, кто тратит больше 300 евро за номер думаю - Grand Vienn самый удачный выбор находиться напротив.
