The situation of the hotel is good if you wish to stay in the old city and to visit the festival events, it needs only a very short walk until the festival hall. The hotel building is very old, without a real modernisation. Somewhere it smells bad and it is very vet. |

had a problem as room made ready for single occupancy, not double - receptionist told and asked to sort it - it was forgotten and we slept with one pillow and one duvet! rather spoilt the break! I dont think we got the superior double room... |

This hotel has a perfect location. It's in the area of the old town which we are able to walk around easily. Breakfast is quite good. No porter to help on the luggages. The bed and bathroom are very small compare to the price you pay. |

I loved everythiing about this Hotel. The location is great, and the service from all the personal outstanding that goes from the front desk to the maids to the luggage porter.The Balck spa and all that it offers is truly first class. The Restaurant, Breakfast and Dinner excellent, and the new gourmet Restaurant 5 stars. |

Yes, I can not consider it as a hotel .It could be any thing else except to be a hotel. Its rooms are very small and have very old broken furniture. I spent two nights and I could not sleep on the bed because of the noise of the bed whenever I moved . I recommand you to cancele it from your web sight.I wasted my time and my money in this poor hotel. |

The breakfast buffet was excellent, the staff were kind, the hotel was situated in a great location in Salzburg, the beds were comfortable The Hotel was very noisy as a lot of the rooms face a very noisy street, especially early in the morning. I would recommend the hotel as long as you could specify a room not facing the street |

it was right in the center of town the sauna and massages were only from 14 to22 oclock so if you arive in the eavening and stay for one night its not for you. you can not have room sivice for just a coffe ore so. only for the whole breackfast. |

Nice, clean hotel in a good location. If you drive, you must reserve parking. Lack of Air Conditioning in this very hot European summer was a problem. Some of the other visitors seemed to go out of their way to be noisy and unpleasent, but this was not the fault of the hotel. |

The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring all the sights of Salzburg. The Italian restaurant associated with the hotel is excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was very good. The lack of air conditioning in temperatures of over 35 degrees Celsius was a bit of a drawback. Street noise from having to have the windows wide open all the time was a bit of a nuisance |

staff where extremely helpful, breakfast excellent- just a pity they do not offer other food for lunch/dinner Just the lack of air conditioning with tempsof 92 degrees during our stay which admittedly was the exception. However during summer it would be good to have the option! |

The location was perfect. There were many great restaurants nearby and we could walk easily to all the sights. We had an apartment for our family of 4. The room was very clean, nicely decorated, and I appreciated the liquid soap provided in the shower and by the sink. Cleaning service person was very nice and maintenance man also very nice. The breakfast was quite good and convenient. We liked all the art pieces throughout the hotel and in our room. The location and gate were a bit hard to find. I was glad that I called the hotel before to reserve parking. The staff person was very helpful and told me about the gate and what we would need to do, but it was still a little confusing. Once we found it, though, it was easy and parking was great. |

The proximity of the hotel to the old town and castle. Also very polite and helpful staff at the desk. For a 4Star hotel, we felt the decor of the bedroom was jaded. Also the comfort and furniture was poor for a 4Star hotel. |

Location was very good and staff was very helpful. We got 'family-room' which was like a summer gottage.We expected more luxury from four-star hotel. At least bathroom was clean and modern.Also lack of AC was disappointment, but that we knew before arriving. |

This is a charming hotel with a great location just below the fortress and easy access to the Getreidegasse. The staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms were spacious and decorated with antique furniture. We also appreciated the free wireless access in the lobby. There is no restaurant in the hotel but a good Italian one right next door. We were totally satisfied. |

The hotel was beautiful and in a fantastic location. Everyone was extremely helpful. I will be recommending to any of my friends who may visit Salzburg. Trying to get luggage throught the entrance while there was a function on the footpath and entrance way. |

We really enjoyed the friendly efficiency of the staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Thank you to all of them. Enjoyed the breakfasts and breakfast staff. Loved the location and the ambience. Our room was pleasant and comfortable and the view to the Capppucinberg was great. We would like to have a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea of coffee from time to time. Also it would be handy to be able to charge meals from the Trattoria back to our room. These are not dislikes so much as suggestions. |
