What a great hotel. It has an excellent location, very near to the Cathedral and all of the major sites, and it is a charming place. We had one of the two-floor apartments which was very nice and spacious. I plan to stay here again when I return to Salzburg in a few months. Great breakfast too. |

It was nicely located right inside the Old Town, right near to tourist sights. The hotel was clean, chic and refreshing in contrast to your typical monotonous hotel. The room was clean (although the entrance foyer and wash basin were at the same place, but this adds to its chic design) and very classy, and we had Mozart Balls on our pillows. The soap dispenser in the shower was defective which leaked soap unto the shower floor. My wife slipped on it and hurt herself. We called reception to ask them to clean it up because it was really thick and could not be removed simply bw running the water. They said they had no one who can do it and that she (the lady at reception) was alone and she could not leave her station. |

Perfect location, right in the heart of the city and if you request early enough there is cheap parking on site. |

The location is very nice. Right in the old town. The floors were very creaky, as was the bed. The hotel was really a 3 star, but I guess the location upped it to a 4 star? |

The position in the town was good. If only staying a couple of nights, you could see many things by simply walking. The bath facilities were good and the reception staff very helpful. I would stay here again for a short city break. Beds a bit hard and not enough pillows. Maybe a small tea making facility for an early morning cup of tea would have been nice. stay here . |

The hotel is positioned in the middle of the city which makes it easy to walk around the old city. Nice suites but fair quality of general room. Normal room looks a bit too old. You can expect from the suite to be something different, but the normal rooms still should be at the similar level of quality. |

Nice quiet room, comfortable bed, balcony with nice view and great breakfast. It would be great if we could park on the street somewhere or in the parking lot adjacent to the hotel instead of attempting the trek up the small winding road to the small parking lot they have. Parking is restricted even to get into the area where the hotel is and even though I asked for a reservation there are very few spots to park your vehicle. Ours is a Jeep and I had a lot of difficulty parking it; there was only a garage space available. |

Excellent location, interesting building and conversion, good services, breakfast buffet was splendid Although it had a balcony, which was nice to have, our room was rather small (bathroom was good) |

near to the town, clean , breakfast The lady from reception, ( Only one young girl was very helpful finally on Saturday the 21 March ) the bed ( you need WD40 to spray ) very noise, smell very strong at paint, the room was very cold. also I been asked nicely after I booked the hotel room, because I prepare a surprise for my boyfriend, if I could have a Wine as welcome package, flowers etc... |

Wonderfull view to the city and to the Castle (we stay in room on 4th floor). Very quiet surrounding, very comfortable for walking in Altstadt because of location of the hotel, every interesting place in old Salzburg in walking distance. |

Clean rooms, excellent location, and great restaurant attached We had to ask twice for the wellness facility to be properly prepared (with 45 minute intervals), and were treated quite rudely by the young woman behind the reception about it. |

The cinema Beautiful spacious bathroom in room 500. Sauna etc was quite "dated". Facility to have hot water available 24 hours would have been good. ie kettle for drinks in the bedroom. |

Our room was not serviced when we were there and on contacting reception was asked if it was dirty as there was no one available to do it. New towels were brought and an apology given - but not what is expected from a 4 star hotel. |

Very courteous staff. Nice bedroom. Good breakfasts. We did think that there was a lounge but the photos were out if date. I don't know if the Italian restaurant is part of the hotel but they did make 2 huge errors during separate dining experiences but made no effort to atone. We thought that was very bad. We forgave them the first time and tried again another night but sadly the same error was committed and suddenly the language was a problem!!! |

Excellent location. Very pleasant hotel staff. Super breakfast. Great rooms, get an upgrade if you can afford it, the better rooms are fantastic. They do not have a kettle in the room. |

Great location. The staff was helpful and the rooms were nice. There is a movie theater in the hotel and a great Italian restaurant below. We would stay there again. |
