Hotel Kavalier

well the reception stuff was good, the room was clean,breakfest was perfect, good choice and pretty enough:-)(buffet)(restaurant stuff was very friendly), we were there for one night also for the money good value, good connection with the tramway to the city (15min- innere Mariahilfestr.)

some kind of smell in the corridor before the room and the low hot water presure in the room on fourth floor

location: there is not any good restaurants nearby; there is a railroad on the one side of the hotel and tram on the other.

It is located in Viennas "Red Light" district, and on the way home from downtown, you pass a lot of brothels

Everything was ok. The room was very clean.

very, very nice and kind staff (we had to take another night because of an Hungarian Railway strike) and we get immediately the room at a good price

Location was good, breakfast offered a good selection.

If you get a room on the backside of the hotel you will face the railway but it wasn't too loud for me. They do control the breakfast - 14 Euro per person, not included in the room price. A guy came around after we sat down and started eating asking for our room number, then returned later to tell us 28 euro will be added to our room bill. Bathtub wasnt very clean. Not a 4 star hotel, maybe 3.
