Good value for money, nice room.
Staff, Wi-Fi didn't work.
very bad wifi ,stuff dont know how to speak with the customers
Large, clean and comfortable room.
Noise from trains passing very close to the hotel. Breakfast could be better.
Close to Schlossbaun.
Having the toilet lights turned Off! Staff was not very polite when this incident occurred .
Near tram station
Staff not very nice
The good is the lady in the reception armana I think with the glasses And mr Leo was good man and helpful
the other lady at the reception with the long black hair and blue eyes was mean and not friendly at all
Spacious room, clean and comfortable, well equipped. The breakfast was good, plenty of choices from the buffet. The staff is very friendly.
Poor wi-fi in the rooms.
nice room very good size comfy bed. ok breakfast good value for money
only stayed one night
Some of the bars and restaurants in the suburbs around the hotel were excellent. I get the feeling that hotels are expensive in Vienna so the Hotel Kavalier might represent good value for money.
The hotel needs a refurb as its looking very dated and very tired. Some of the Receptionist staff were brilliant while two of them had a poor attitude, very unhelpful and, in fact, quite rude.
First of all, there was no water in the room. Second the wifi for internet sucks. Third there was some noise from maintenance in the afternoon. Finally, one guy in the reception tried to fool me, no need for mentioning the name.
conditions, value for money, ...
A bit far from downtown!
Spacy room, good bed, parking garage, friendly staff
Bit street noise, breakfast was ok but not high standard
Great breakfast, 24h check in, free wifi in the room.
We had a lot of small bugs in our room (more than a 100) becouse our room was near big tree...
- good value for money (48 euro) - rich breakfast - next to Schönbrunn Palace - paid parking nearby (free in the night and weekends)
Very good breakfast
A bit far from Innere Stadt (aboout 30 minutes travell by tram+underground)
I booked this hotel to spend one night flight overlay in Vienna, The hotel is approx 1 hours away of the Vienna Airport. First you need to take the Vienna Airport bus to its last station Westbahnhof in the center of the city (45-minute journey, departures every 30 minutes), then take the tram 52 to "Ameisgasse" in the direction of Baumgartner (15-minute journey). The stay was clean, and affordable near the city center, and I found no problem to get to the Vienna airport at 7:30 AM by reversing the same transport again. The breakfast was of a high standard and with a good variety.
The only thing was the day receptionist, who was a non-friendly young lady.
excellent price for the quality of stay
-Sauna great -Great breakfast
-It was written there will be internet. There was no internet one day. For me it is hard to organise my trip without it. I was very angry. -First day dark lady was not nice.
Very good breakfast
We chose the Kavalier for 3 nights based upon price, location (near Schoenbrunn) and the availability of car parking. We arrived at about 2.30pm and Check-in was quick and our room was available. We had asked for a double room, but it was configured as a twin; however we found that the centre piece between the two singles clipped off so we moved the singles together...not a problem. Our room was facing the road and was very quiet. We had expected some road/traffic noise but nothing bothered us Breakfast was excellent (the bacon and the meatballs especially so) and the dining room staff were great. We timed breakfast for 0845 so that the 2 tour buses had left which proved to be a good decision; not so busy and the staff freshly replenished everything Parking was in their undergound car park; nice and secure although Euro 16/day. We walked to Schoenbrunn from the Kavalier..its about 15-20 minutes and an easy walk. Overall we thought this hotel met our requirements and was excellent value for money; certainly nothing significant to complain about for the price we paid.
No Coffee/Tea facilities in the room. (but can be ordered at the hotel bar and there is a nice cafe across the road) The Restaurant isn't open at night (not a real problem for us, but maybe for someone less mobile or reliant upon public transport. There are plenty of restaurants within a 15-20 mins walking radius of the Kavalier.)
breakfast, cooperative staff, clean, comfy
We got this hotel for 45 EUR with breakfast, which is very reasonable price for two persons for 4 start hotel. In advance we asked room view to the street, and we had it (maybe the opposite rail view should not good) Really big screen TV, big variety og breakfast, comfortable bed and big room, there was not a problem concerning parking, you do not need to use the hotel parking for 16 EUR, because the front of the hotel there was free parking in the afternoon, and evening we found in 50 m a suitable place. Easy check in and check out.
There was not any problem.
Very good for price/quality, very good breakfast, very clean......
The hotel was clean, with good facilities and great breakfast
it was a bit far from the city center, but the tram station is just in front of the hotel.. so there is no problem to get to the city center by public transport
