Hotel Kavalier

The hotel was close to the 52 tram line, in less than half an hour u can be at the Westbahnhof, where the shopping part of the Mariahilferstasse begins. Tha bad part was that in the evening we had to wait longer for the tram to come [about 10-15 min] The breakfast buffet had a good variaty of sortiments. during winter the room was very well heaten... Oh and i also liked that they let us check in earlier than the regular check in hours.

I didn't like that that they didn't have any kingsize or queensize beds. They had only twin beds.

It was good. The breakfast was rich.

The room was too warm.

The transport to the centre of Vienna was easy

I was woken 4-5 times during the night as the draft along the corridor was rattling the door. When I mentioned this the receptionist did not seem to take much notice and I checked out a day early. The hotel was also much further from the centre than I had originally thought so the transport into the centre took some time and having to use public transport meant leaving to go back to the hotel early.

Coffe Shop and breakfast personeel are friendly and eager to help and provide simply things.

The hotel Receptionists need to have a total makeover. The girls are having problems to speak friendly or to greet and to smiles like they are forced coming to work and very unprofessional! It took ages to get taxi and very disorganised. Bathrooms have never been checked, very obvious they dont have a House Dames. Rooms just being changed without being cleaned neither to check if the toiletteries being checked.The noises are immensed, as tourists standing and chatting and screaming on every floors and no hotel securities to be found to keep these people away or informed to behaved.

the fact that I paid extra for airconditioning and then the hotel told me 23 C is the lowest it could go.......so why pay extra then

well the reception stuff was good, the room was clean,breakfest was perfect, good choice and pretty enough:-)(buffet)(restaurant stuff was very friendly), we were there for one night also for the money good value, good connection with the tramway to the city (15min- innere Mariahilfestr.)

some kind of smell in the corridor before the room and the low hot water presure in the room on fourth floor

We checked in very late but there was no problem.

Little opportunity to have a snack or coffee during the day

It is located in Viennas "Red Light" district, and on the way home from downtown, you pass a lot of brothels

very, very nice and kind staff (we had to take another night because of an Hungarian Railway strike) and we get immediately the room at a good price

a little bit far from the center but very well connected with public transportation

A személyzet bármikor segítségünkre volt, segítettek ha elakadtunk a nyelv megértésében. A reggeli nagyon finom és bőséges volt.

Hotelul deosebit de curat si civilizat, cu parcare subterana, personal agreabil, mic dejun bogat, ca mai in toate hotelurile din Austria.

Hotelul are dezavantajul pozitionarii departe de centrul Vienei.Desi tramvaiul se poate lua chiar din fata, a trebuit apoi sa mai schimbam 2 metrouri ca sa ajungem in Piata Primariei, iar personalul de la receptie n-a fost prea explicit in aceasta privinta, asa ca , a doua zi am luat masina.
