Hotel Kummer

Ens ha agradat tot tret el tracte del recepcionista de la tarda, que sense ser dolent no va ser tan agradable com la resta de personal

la situació en la ciutat, está al costat mateix d'una parada de metro que et deixa en 5 minuts en quasi qualsevol racó de la ciutat. Els esmorzars també están molt bé. Complert.

El mobiliari de l'habitació és una mica vellet. Encara que em sembla que les començaven a remodelar. El lavabo una mica just per a un hotel de 4 estrelles.

Proximity to underground/metro , shopping area , haus des meres&parc , restaurants and coffee & ice-cream shops.Very good breakfast;

As I read alos on other reviews...Air conditioning was not working properly, then I have been shown few other rooms again with airconditioning not working properly. Few days later on I exchanged the room with one with AC working but centralized controlled at 22 Celsius degrees. So I could either keep it on or switch it off at this temperature; Later on I realized that my room has an adjoing door with another room and me&my family could hear everything from that room :) ; Limited choices for lunch and dinner.

Our stay at the Hotel Kummer was a delight starting with our check in. Our reservation was reviewed to make sure we were getting exactly the room we wanted. The ambiance is old world without being dingy or lacking. Our room, though a bit small, was wonderfully furnished with good bed linens, good lighting, and table space. The bathroom was sparkling white with a good bath and shower and bath amenities. Even though the room looked out over a busy shopping street, the double windows kept out the noise. And we had air conditioning! On the most sweltering of summer days, we slept well in our cool room on a surprisingly comfortable bed.

No coffee service in the room, but knowing this we brought our own electric kettle. There was not a good place in the room to sit and write, spread a map, or work.

The front desk staff was attentive and helpful. Room modern. Restaurant available throughout the day.Breakfast selections outstanding.

Would have liked to see more extended menu, particularly at mid-day.

Excellent facilities, helpful staff who are knowledgeable of the city, quality & variety for breakfast, comfortable bed, good selection of television stations.

Some awkwardness in layout - i.e. some unecessary stairs connecting sections.

I appreciated the spacious room and its gracious comfort, in which I really felt I could live for a longer time.

Perhaps a better emphasis should be applied to improve natural ventilation, since opening the window introduced some level of external noise from the bus stop nearby.

Excellent location and breakfasts. Comfortable and spacious.

We were put into a room with an adjoining door into another guest room. We only realised this when a family checked in at 1am - no sleep for the rest of the night - excessively noisy. We requested a room change and were refused.

The location is perfect. The tube is outside the hotel. And the breakfast is lovely.
