BEST WESTERN Hotel Neue Post  

We had a lovely weekend at the Hotel Neue Post from the moment we walked in and were greeted by the lovely, friendly lady on reception to when we left and we were farewelled by the same lady.I Had asked for a quiet room with a view and we were given a large room on the 4th floor with a beautiful mountain view. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is an easy 10 min walk from the train station and within walking distance of all that Innsbruck has to offer. We would highly recommend this hotel as a quiet, very comfortable place to stay in Innsbruck.

The only problem we had was with the restaurant attached to the hotel. Perhaps it's a translation problem but the meal my husband ordered as per the menu - described as baked chicken breast on a salad and accompanied by a photo on the menu showing sliced chicken breast meat on a salad - turned out to be a couple of deep fried chicken nuggets on a salad. My husband complained and only after some discussion as to the interpretation of the menu was he provided with a piece of grilled chicken in lieu of the the chicken nuggets.

Small hotel. Breakfast.location. Very helpful staff. Generally clean rooms.

Despite no smoking policy, patrons still smoked, and the hotel smelled of smoke. Beds hard. Bathroom smelled like a public urinal.

The staff at the reception desk was extremely helpful. The location was also very good - right down the street from the train station and only two blocks from the center of town.

The room was very small for the price. I realize, tho, that it was Christmas Market season and I was lucky to get a room at all.

The location was excellent and same with the Breakfast. Fan and converters were provided on request.

The ventilation in the room was not proper... it was too humid in the room and without any ventilation, it was being difficult. However, the hotel staff provided a table fan on request another minor thing.. might not be critical for some.. check-in timing were respected and maintained as per the booking!!! we arrived at about 12:30 and were not handed over with the keys till 14:00. The check-in time mentioned on during the booking is 14:00.. so the staff did not made any special efforts for the comfort of the guest.

Location was good, breakfast was great.

Recommendation that they, as a well known Chain Hotel, need to have available Tourist information of the City as the information in the Lobby was of not useful content whatsoever. There also needs to be basic requirements like hand soap and coffee making facilities in the Room as no Room to Note was available. The Ironing when requested was of no value as the board was only small with 6inch legs. Twin beds put together is not a Double!!

We were there when there was a big confrence on, when we arrived we asked the front desk if posible could we have room with a view they gave us the choice of two rooms, we had a great view of the mountains, all the staff that we had contact with were exelent and a credit to the hotel.

The room was fine but not all that grand as regards furnishing.Very comfortable and we enjoyed the stay. The Receptionist was really helpful and pointed out the sights .

Wij verbleven slechts 1 nacht in Neue Post omdat we na een week in het Zillertal zondagmorgen vroeg op het vliegveld moesten zijn. In die zin heeft het hotel prima aan onze verwachtingen voldaan.
