I chose the hotel specifically for its location - ie easy walking distance to the theatre where I would be on both nights and also so close to the Sudbahnhof for the airport bus. I might otherwise have stayed nearer the centre as I did previously.....but not necessarily. Excellent breakfast, charming staff but the best thing was having a room at the back of the hotel and on the 6th floor - great view and complete peace. I would always choose a room at the rear and on one of the upper floors. |

The hotel is in immediate vicinity of the Vienna railway station i.e. Suedbahnhof. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. The windows offer good isolation against the noice from the traffic-frequented Guertel street. Standard prices are too high so only by booking through booking.com (and reduced prices) the value corresponds to the money |

location - just opposite side of street Railway Station. The rooms are late 70-ties style. Pls shabby doors, carpets, etc. Only bathroom is renovated, but very small (especially the toilet is very unconfortable, a grown-up person can hardly squeeze in extreemly small space - sitting, your knee is touching the wall). Breakfast - poor choice and staff is not paying any attention to guests, walking and talking to each other like ghousts among tables. Chairs and tables unconfortable, bed much too soft to sleep well. Generally - not worth half the price of room. Who gave them four stars? |

Small rooms, but very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast with bright, sunny breakfast room. Close to public transportation. The room was quite small, but had everything we needed. Area outside hotel wasn't that nice, but convenient to public transportation. |

The staff was very helpful & the breakfast was very good. The only problem was the noise from the street but the windows were sound proof. |

The staff is friendly and the hotel and its rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is also nice. We got a room to the backside of the hotel which was absolutely silent and relaxing. The hotel is around 5 minutes from the subway station "Suedtirolerplatz" away and so it is possible to reach the Center "Stephansplatz" within 10 or 15 minutes. The south train station of Vienna is on the opposite street side and a parking garage is available there too but it is not free for hotel guests. You should pay at the hotel counter because in the garage it is more expensive! |

Staff were very kind and the room was comfortable, although the room I had was not so large. Easy access to the center via the underground or the tram. Excellent breakfast. Only thing that I think of is : there was no shower curtain and the floor got a pool after taking a shower. |

Receptionists are kind and beautiful. Access to the centre of city and the airport are very good. The South Station is very close to the hotel and has a supermarket. But at night the atmosphere around is not so good. |

Basic facilities such as room and bathroom good though rooms small. Breakfast was reasonably good. Internet charges are appallingly high and the highest I have seen in travelling round Europe recently - it is a major flaw of this hotel as effectively they are make the rooms appear cheaper by hitting you with internet charges which is devious. Most travellers will grudgingly pay 5-10 euros per day (though more and more hotels are biting the bullet and making it free) but more than that is unreasonable |

The hotel was very clean and quite. The room was a good size (not large but also not small), staff were excellent. Very easy to get to from the airport (first bus stop on the airport bus service - right outside the southern station - cost 6 Euro). A short walk (20 minutes) away from the centre of town - with plenty of public transport options (within 1 or 2 minutes walk) to get you anywhere you want in the city. All in all it was an excellent choice. |

This is a good hotel with good value for money. The location is good for visiting other towns on daytrips from the Sudbahnhof and for quickly getting into the city centre from the nearby U1 metro stop as well as Tram D. Breakfast is good and the BBC and CNN are available on TV. But the location is not picturesque and in the still of the night there is audible light noise from the road outside (which one gets used to) which might be taken into account in deciding whether to stay here. |

From the warm welcome, to position of the Hotel with access to public transport system, we thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at the Hotel Prinz Eugen. The young lady at Reception was very helpful and always ready to give us advice about Vienna. Breakfast in the large dining area was well presented and excellent choices of foods regularly being replenished by pleasant, friendly staff ensuring hot food. |

The centrally located and comfortable Hotel Congress is situated opposite the Southern Train Station. |
The exclusive Renaissance Wien Hotel offers style and charm in an excellent location within walking distance of Schönbrunn Palace. |
Opened in June 2008, the brand new 4-star Embassy Hotel is ideally located in the famous shopping street Landstrasser Hauptstrasse, only a short walk from the city centre and the Wien-Mitte railway... |
Only a 10-minute walk away from the city centre, this 4-star hotel was open in November 2009 in a quiet side street between 2 underground stations, which are both 200 metres away. |
