Exceptional service and staff! Highly recommend this hotel as it is walking distance from major attractions and both service and facility are top of the line. This hotel was one of the highlights of our 4-week Europian vacation.

The Old Tradition is present in this hotel. The Service is excellent and the hotel is full of charm. The location is perfect to access to the main places.

The bathroom could be renovated, nevertheless gives you everything you need.

Lovely hotel, absolutely top notch! Very personalized service, staff were extremely helpful and friendly!

Although the rooms were really beautifully appointed, the shower ran hot then cold, back and forth. To be expected perhaps in an historic hotel, but a little annoying. Other than that, nothing negative at all!

From the moment we walked in the door the staff made us feel very welcome. This was Hospitality at it's finest. The room, though a bit small was perfectly appointed. We had a wonderful view of the old town, fortress and the beautiful mountains. The staff are what make the hotel. No request was too much trouble. We had a fantastic conceirge that made our stay even more special by arranging concert tickets in the Fortress as well as reservations at one of the Gastronmic hotspots in town. The bartender in the lounge was especially professional and entertaining! he even remembered our drinks from the previous evening. Christine our Breakfast waitress was very accommodating and very helpful each morning! The Hotel is highly recommend to anyone that appreciates excellent service and Hospitality the way it should be! We will return in the very near future.

Only one 'small thing' that could have been considered a complaint, was the shower/bath taps 'had a mind of their own' and were hard to regulate for a shower.. but we worked around this 'minor issue'. Overall the room and the Hotel were almost perfect !

It's rather hotel for old people. Design is not nice for modern or young people.

Reception on Sunday , 11 Nov 2012, he was not as gentle as the others. I stayed at the hotel three times in two years, most of the receptions I experienced with were very polite and enthusiastic.

A wonderful Hotel. The staff are excellent. You certainly have a five star experience! We knew it was going be a special Hotel when we were shown to our lovely room with complimentary sacher torte awaiting us.The room overlooked the river and old city and we had a fantastic view, with a private balcony and a room decor that was beautifully set out. Fresh fruit arrived by magic in our room each morning. I have recently stayed in 5 star Hotel in England charging over double the price which had sevice that paled into insignificance compared to this Hotel. A real gem!

The staffs were excellent and friendly. The Location is good.

The room was not as per our request which we've been placed in a 2 twin beds rather than one king size bed

The location and service are very good! We can see the whole river view through our window. The staff who cleaning the room were very good and helpful!

i booked the superior room according to the Picture of the Sacher Hotel on booking website, but the room was totally different with the Picture!!! If i saw the actual room picture before, i would not book the hotel maybe! So for me, the picture of room was very important! Although the staff arranged our room with river view finally, i hope Hotel could refresh the pic on the website!!!!!

A little disappointed in the value. The lobby was beautiful, and the staff were extremely helpful but the hotel is resting on its reputation and we have stayed in far nicer heritage hotels.sorry but not worth the price.
