Score from 429 reviews Very good
- no possibility of parking when very soon check out needed - no lift to 3rd floor
Hotel is in a quiet location; about 10 minutes walk to the city centre; breakfast included in the rate
Not enough parking spaces for cars; unstable Wi-Fi connection
Price, service, breakfast, WiFi is weak
Chose the hotel for its hillside location (be advised it is on a fairly steep hill), inclusive breakfast and reasonable price. Tautermann scored as expected on all fronts - the staff especially are friendly and helpful. There is a cafe a short walk UP the hill . . . as is the bus stop to go into town (the H route).
Very little. For some reason we couldn't fathom there were no plugs in either basins or shower.
Great location for exploring Innsbruck Clean and comfortable Good breakfast included
Parking is limited
Staff, good Team work. Our needs were welcome with a smile.
The staff was friendly, the room was always clean,... we would really like to recommend this accomodation!
I missed fresh fruit at breakfast...
Staffs were very helpful. Clean spacious rooms. Good breakfast. old city center can be reached by foot in 5 minutes.
No lift but hotel staff offered us the rooms just one stairs below the reception so that we have less difficulty with the luggage. Wifi was very poor on first day. But it improved on the next day.
location is very good
the room and bathrood is too small and uncomfortable.
Horrible breakfast, bed full of hard springs, loud cutlery noises in the morning. Worst hotel for the paid price.
Closeness to the centre.
Very difficult to find a parking spot, but at the end it worked.
Decent hotel. To the center by foot
Location, cozy , clean
Need more pillows
Good quiet location, modestly bad clean furniture. While you parking, you can prove driving skills.
Big rooms, spacious, clean, pretty close to the main attractions
Everything was ok.
Too expensive since we stayed in a small room in the basement where it was extremly hot. Our roomdescription said that we could enjoy the view at the Mountains - but that is not possible from the basement nor from the hotel unless you go outside. The wifi was very unstable. We will not come back.
The location and the breakfast
The small parking place (thow there was a parking spot for our car) and the room was a bit small for parents with four kids
nice,clean, quiet and warm
The place was clean and cozy with just a little away from the city center.
There wasn't any issue.
room in basement was musty smelling and damp and Wifi didn't work well in room.
location is not good
- location - area - staff
a bit old but it's ok
Location - it's about a 10 min walk across the river to the old town. If you are travelling by car to Innsbruck it maybe a little difficult to find the hotel the first time. Look for sign board directions right at the junction of the river. Free on site car park, fairly hospitable staff, quick check in (though the reception is open only till 11pm) and they let me store my bags in the basement room until 4pm even after my check out which was at 11:00am, adequate room size.
I wouldn't say I didn't like... But it could definitely be better. Hotels in Innsbruck are comparatively more expensive when compared with Vienna and Salzburg (where we stayed before.) So you may end up paying a fairly higher price for a rather moderate budget accommodation i.e. Tautermann. The room doesn't have an air conditioner nor a fan. So summers can be rather hot. The shower space is extremely small. For an average built Indian male, I constantly had my elbows hitting the glass side walls. I'll let u imagine what it would be like for a European 6-footer. The breakfast spread is definitely something I'd like to highlight. It was nothing like what the previous guests had the say. The only option of eggs were hard boiled. Very limited fruit. All in all, it's a decent place to stay at if all you need is a place to shower during the day and sleep at night. Just the basics, but the basics were just adequate.
