Comfortable with excellent help from staff to ensure we were able to use the bus service that departs from in front of the hotel to town centre.

Friendly hotel staff. Adjacent to bus stop for convient and quick access to old Salzberg.

No elevator. My bathroom was very small.

The room was small but as my wife said, "It was a grandma room." It had a pleasant and restful design.

It was difficult to find.

This is a very pleasant hotel 2-3 km from the Alstadt. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good, and worth the small charge. Perfect location for driving out to the lakes district and the off street parking was convenient. Good location for twon as well, it is a very easy 10-15 min bus ride, with a stop out the front of the hotel.

The bed was very, very creaky, it woke me up when I rolled over. The street was extremely busy and so it was too noisy with the windows open. It would be worth paying for a more expensive room that does not face the street. Also, unlike all of my other bookings, this hotel charged my card directly, just something to keep in mind if you are putting in debit card details.

The setting seemed nice. I was a little worried about the area when we drove up but the hotel had a nice parking area, grassy area for our toddler to run around, and overall an attractive setting.

I did not like that there are actually 3 buildings considered part of this hotel and was under the impression that we would be staying in the attractive building shown on the website (red and white shutters with lots of flowers). Instead we were in a quiet building in the back that needed refurbishment! The shower head is quite low and the ceiling is slanted, so a refreshing stand up shower cannot be expected. The wallpaper is peeling and carpet looks old. Overall the look was very worn on the inside, but inviting on the outside.

Room was nicely situated close to bus stop providing easy access to downtown. Intenet and parking are free.

Person who checked us in seemed "put out" by our presence and questions. Room was quite small, fairly clean, but opened onto a trash bin below. Though we paid for a quadruple room, son was placed on a cot. Shower only. Basic cheap room.

Free parking, easy access from the highway. The bus stop to the city center is located right in front of the hotel. Hotel is ok if you need to stay for one night.

Old furniture (it is not antique yet, but just old). Beds squeak extremely loud. Just to be mentioned: hotel doesn't have restaurant to eat in the evening. Last bus from the city center comes at about 11pm.

Convenience

Pleasant looking, traditional style hotel a couple of miles from the centre of Salzburg, but easy enough to get to and fro. Service mixed. Rather bossy and overstretched staff in the restaurant and breakfast time. On the other hand, flawless wifi access and a helpful front desk. Room clean and pleasant but a bit noisy resulting from thin walls.
