Breakfast in the morning. Bus stop at the door. Very friendly staff. Cosy rooms.
Comfortable room Good location Good breakfast
Bus stop right outside front door, good wi-fi, lovely friendly helpful staff
Our room smelt musty, busy access to breakfast & coffee machine, they may want to invest in 2 during busy periods!
The bus stop to the centre is right in the front of the hotel; the traditional building and furniture.
No family friendly; No elevator; a newborn baby sleeping in HIS OWN pram is considered as a paying guest, if you have another baby: never seen something like that, before.
Location was right in the bus line and had free parking
The room was way too small for 3 adults. Breakfast in the area was hard to find unless you take a bus to town. The hotel breakfast was typical European cold cuts.
Excellent sized room and very charming
Be careful you don't try to arrive after 10pm
The room wasn't warm at night. They turned the heat on in the morning when all the tourists are not in the hotel!
we were given a room in the villa, which is situated a short distance from the main building. the room was well proportioned and had virtually everything we needed. Bathroom was nicely finished and had excellent supply of hot water. Beds were comfy. Wifi worked well. One of the best things is the bus service into and out of the city. The stop is literally outside the hotel and the buses run very frequently right into late evening. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
The maids seemed to like leaving the windows open after cleaning the rooms, which meant the room was cold upon returning later in the day, although they did stop when asked. No tea/coffee making facilities
Very nice, I'd say even charming staff, an old amazingly looking building, great view from the window (you can see mountains!) and clean rooms with everything you need
After midnight I couldn't order myself a tea
Close to main bus routes; Enough parking; Shower cubicle instead of shower over bath; Staff was exceptionally friendly and could assist with best routes to city attractions;
Bathrooms are very small;
Staff were helpful and courteous.
We do arived in the hotel early in the afternoon with no reservation, we do ask the man at the reception for double room, and he said "we don't have any" we ask if he know other option and he advice one. At this momen we do find that there is WiFi around and checked the closest options in booking, the suprice was that we were able to make the reservation for the same hotel, we do it and then we go back to the man at the reception. After few minutes we decided to go to the center and ask for tickets at the reception, over there the same man describe us that the single ticket is 2.5EUR bu he has only 24hours tickets for 4EUR we bought them, actually when we jump in to the bus we found that, single ticket is 1.60EUR and the 24hours 3.40EUR.
Good value for 5 people. Clean Facilities Beautiful grounds Location/ transportation - Parking is FREE and the #4 Bus that takes you to the centro stops right in from of the hotel. Very convenient.
Bring your own toilettries
The staff could not have been nicer, they helped us plan out our entire days and arranged pick up for our tours. Breakfast, though not included, was amazing because they have the best hot chocolate in the world. Comfortable rooms will very comfy beds. About 30 min walk downtown or there is a bus stop directly infront of the hotel.
Easy car parking and a reasonable walk to city centre. Bus at door. Bit isolated in terms of dining options in walking distance. Breakfast good.
- Very friendly staff and we were able to check in around 11am, after asking if I could leave my vehicle until check in time at 2pm. - Lovely clean room and very spacious, even though we stayed in the cheaper smaller room. Even though we were facing the main road, the noise did not bother us. - Bus stop to the city right outside the front door. About 10-15 mins to the city.
- No complaints again. Loved staying here.
Nice room and very confortable for 5 people
Great location - bus stop right outside the door and only 10 mins over the river to central Salzburg Room Size - We booked the smallest they had being on a budget, yet there was a big wardrobe, table, 2 chairs, shelf and 2 bedside tables each with a lamp. Quiet - we were in the annex at the back, not the main hotel itself which was great, as it meant we were away from the main road which is very busy, so with the window shut, there was no noise at all.
Nothing at all to complain about with our stay here. Had they not been fully booked, we would have stayed another 3 nights.
Got a free upgrade. Staff was great. Will come back for sure.
Old building with lots of character.
Bedroom smelled a bit stale (But was clean)
nice playroom for children
Friendly staff, bus outside the front door, fantastic internet.
Very bad hotel I don't recommend it for any one... And they charged us extra 50€ for child 6 years old Breakfast is the worst breakfast I have ever tasted .. And they make colored boiled eggs ..maybe it's very old so u see the colors get inside the eggs!!! Staff not friendly at all .. Only cleaners are good..very bad location ..far away from the old town..and it's soo difficult to know where is the hotel.. It doesn't deserve 2 stars.. Don't waste ur money
The rooms were comfortable and quiet and we enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel is not in walking distance from the town but there is a bus stop outside the hotel.
Reasonable sized room. Bathroom quite good. Breakfast was good.
Too far out of town. Right on fairly busy road. Very few eating places nearby. Staff not very friendly or helpful (watched me lug my heavy suitcase upstairs). No lift.
