the positioning of the hotel that was very close to the city center and subway, the personell that was very kind and professional, the value for money, the room that was very big and comfortable the fact that not all the towels were being daily changed.... |

The staff were fantastic - helpful, friendly yet unobtrusive. Breakfast was super and plenty of it! Location convenient - turn left when you get off the Karlsplatz train and go up the "Floragasse" stairs. The hotel is just at the corner of the next block. Room were not probably four star, but for the money, a fantastic value. Nothing to complain about for the money - I'm already booking for my next stay in Vienna. |

The hotel is on a very good location, just a few steps to a metrostation that takes you for one stop to the city Opera House - a very central location and ideal for touring Vienna. The value that we paid for our room was all worth the money - it was very spacy, extremely clean, sunny and warm (we went in the winter). The staff is very welcoming , they've recommended places to eat that were all worth the try. Will definitely stay in Johann Srauss hotel again while in Vienna! I liked everything. |

It is clean and the staff is really nice The hotel is "old" and it is certainly not a 4 stars. I would rate it as a 3 stars |

The hotel staff was the best I have ever seen! So kind, nice and very very helpful! The breakfast was very good. The hotel is a little "old", the insides could be more modern. Specially in the rooms. |

Great art nouveau design, good breakfast, large room, friendly and effective staff The only problem is with garage which was in a celar and it was really difficult to move the car in and out |

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and bright. Breakfast offered lots of variety. Although a bit out of the centre, it was only a short walk to the Ringstrasse, Belvedere Palace and Subahnhof. The elevator is incredibly slow |

very friendly and accomodating staff from the receptionists to waiters and offered great advice about tours and concerts etc even one receptionist researched and printed a train timetable for us. |

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Quiet room, good location. Easy to access, metro station just in front of the door. When having breakfast at 9:30 or later, the breakfast buffet was already out of some sorts. |

the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly during my stay. the breakfast was good and the free internet access was a plus. the room i stayed in, 608, was in need of some refurbishing. the walls were dirty and the beds were more like narrow cots with only a single bed cover and the pillows gave no support to your head. the towels and wash clothes were very dinghy and very coarse....they should have been replaced along time ago. |

This is a very nice, cosy hotel, ideally located, very close to the city center. Considering the spot and the services offered, it's probably the best value-for-money one might get in this city. |

Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Breakfasts were superb. location is central for walking and close to the underground if you don't want to walk. Noise from the traffic even on the 6th floor as I had to have the windows open at night as no AC. C |

hotel is close to the metro, and within easy walking distance to the city.The breakfast was 5 star. I had a quiet room on the top floor. The bed was comfortable. the pillows are too soft. The curtains are not brilliant, so if you are a light sleeper you wake up at first light!!!!!! No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. |
