We were given a large room.
location is very good room is good too bed is comfortable
too small blanket (not full of double bed) too noisy 'coz it's the main junction near train station. At night someone in the street shouted loudly (maybe drunk)
Ideal for for Bus or Train travel and only 15 mins from Airport by bus. Good size Clean rooms with all epxpected facilities.
15min walk to Old Town (but for the price!!! what can you expect)
Close to railway station and town centre. Good mountain views from the room.
Very convenient for the station so not far to drag cases & skis. Buses to nearby ski areas leave from blow the hotel. Very quiet.
A bit of a walk to the old town historic and shopping areas.
clean small but comfortable and great location
booking only reflected price for one person altho we asked for 3 person so lots of extra cost plus parking was extra...in the end not such a great price...an extra $100+
location (we needed to be close to the station)
Non smoking room stank of smoke One single duvet supplied on double bed
clean and comfortable, sizeable room for solo traveller, quiet given location near busy railway station
The free wi-fi signal in my room was very poor. Clearly it's only purpose is to direct you to buy the premium wi-fi service at 6 euros per day. This really is a cheap trick and reflects badly on the perception of how ibis regards its customers. If other hotels can supply a decent free service then why can't ibis? Furthermore the breakfast is expensive. You are much better off grabbing a coffee and pastry at a third of the price at one of the many excellent coffee shops and bakeries nearby.
Good hotel across the road from the Main Train Station. Staff friendly and hospitable. Good sized room and comfortable bathroom. Breakfast spread fair. overall impression of hotel and surrounds positive, would recommend.
Cleanliness Comfort Convenience
Dog in the room next door barking all night
fast internet, variety of foreign TV channels, location close to the railway station (and not being noisy in the same time)
a little basic look of common areas (though refurbishment about to start late January 2014), not breakfast included
Location and staff
room was comparatively small
Great location. Comfortable, clean room. Good breakfast.
It would have been nice to have a sign giving directions from the railway station, seeing that it is part of the complex.
Easy to access - above the train station, very quiet. Beds comfortable, bathroom adequate.
Staff need some customer service training. Unhelpful.
Very prompt and efficient check-in and check-out, we arrived and departed by train and made connections within 15 mins, hotel direct entrance from railway concourse a great idea. We covered the sights of Innsbruck and surrounds within 2 days
Tiny and infrequent lift was a painful wait each day.
The staff is very helpful and the place is spotless. Location is also good.We were surprised how quiet the rooms are, considering the hotel is right next to the railroad station
Great helpful and friendly staff. Convenient location, didn't have to go out of the train station to get to the hotel. Close to Old town and all the sights and transport. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance.
Just right out of the railway station. Perfect to get around
The staff, excellent and very friendly
- being linked to the Innsbruck HBF makes it so convenient to visit surrounding villages and cities. - soundproof room, for good night's sleep.
- free wifi always slow. Option to upgrade to faster speed, if you don't mind paying extra. - staff were okay, had a slight disagreement on the total bill initially, but sorted out within minutes. - note that hotel card can only access the lift that's within the hotel, to their room levels. There is another external lift (linked to hotel as well) which can only lead to the Lobby on Level 1. I kept having problems accessing my room level using the external lift, until I figured it out. I had to "re-activate" my card twice, and the staff kept insisting I placed hotel card with my mobile, which I didn't. She even implied holding the hotel card in one hand, and my mobile in another hand would cause deactivation of the card. Seriously....? - the tap water has a foul drainage smell at times. - most of my towels had black marks or holes in them.. - stayed there for 5 nights & observed that they never vacuum the floor at all during their house cleaning.. Hair left on toilet floor were just left there for 5 nights..
Convenient localization on the side of trains station, with an access by station. Small walk to Altstadt (10 minutes). Good wifi.
Excellent location for catching all public transport. Shopping & food stores located just below the hotel.
Slight noise early in the morning from train station nearby.
Hotel Management would not honour Booking.com statement that booking price quote Included vat tax. Great deal of street noise.
