Ifa Alpenrose HotelWalser Str. 56, 6993 Mittelberg (Покажи на картата) This comfortable and child-friendly hotel is centrally located at the entrance to Mittelberg in the Kleinwalsertal valley, only a few hundred metres away from the chair lift and the Walmendinger Hornbahn cable car. Facilities at IFA Alpenrose Hotel include a restaurant, a bar, a terrace, a spa centre (free of charge), a fitness centre, the “Alpini” children's club, a tennis court, a children's playground, and an underground car park (at an extra cost). All rooms are comfortably furnished and offer beautiful views of the valley or the mountains. Half-board is included in the price. You can have dinner in one of the 3 cosy, smoke-free dining rooms “Allgäuer Stube”, “Schweizer Stube”, or “Walser Stube”. Various activities are hosted regularly, including fitness and aerobics programme, night tobogganing, live music evenings, bingo evenings, guest tournaments, guided hikes, Nordic walking weeks, mountain bike rental, and mountain bike tours. Professional child care for children from 3 years of age is available during the main holiday season. Massages and beauty treatments, a solarium, ski rental, a ski school, baby and child care (on request), snowshoe hikes, and horse-drawn carriage and sleigh rides are available at and additional cost. In summer the surrounding area is ideal for hiking, climbing, and mountain biking. During the school holidays, a varied programme of games and activities is offered to children and teenagers. There are several ski and snowboard schools in Mittelberg. You can use the bus lines in the Kleinwalsertal valley free of charge with the guest card of IFA Alpenrose Hotel. We stayed over the New Year and liked the way there was evening entertainment most nights. The bar was always lively and the lobby area well used. There were organised walks but unfortunately not for 3 days over the New Year. There was plenty of good food although the cooks often went overboard with their use of salt especially in the soups and on the potatoes.

Het totale concept klopte. Gedegen organisatie die het de gasten naar de zin wil maken, en dat is goed gelukt. Echte aanrader voor rust, natuur en een voortreffelijke gastronomie.

In zijn geheel vond ik het prima in hotel Alpenrose Een minpuntje vond ik dat op de kaart die op tafel stond met wijn aanbieding een wijn stond voor 18.50 euro die niet verkrijgbaar was,er werd mij toen een ander wijntje aanbevolen maar die was 4 euro duurder,maar de kaart bleef gewoon op tafel staan met de aanbieding van 18.50 die niet verkrijgbaar was naar mijn idee moet je een andere wijn aanbieden voor de prijs die op de kaart staat ,en dan moet je ook die aanbieding ook van de kaart verwijderen. In de sauna het rust gedeelte, kan je de herrie vanuit het zwembad horen,kinder geschreeuw.

Het ontbijtbuffet en het avondbuffet waren super. In de middag dan nog gratis soep. Je hebt de hele week een gereserveerde tafel voor jezelf en hoeft dus nooit op een tafel te wachten.
