Deluxe room= spacious bed room. However the room was only three quarters usable as the ceiling was diagonal due to the roof. Big wardrobe. Breakfast was big and varied. Lovely wooden room interior. Lady replenishing Buffet in Dirndl dress. Pet cleaning fee for the room either 10 or 15€/night, I cannot remember. No treats or other services for the pet however. Restaurant dinner food was ok, but not great. Staff was kind, even though usually quite busy.

This family-run hotel is located in the center of the picturesque town of Strobl in the Salzkammergut, right on the shores of Lake Wolfgang. The Kirchenwirt offers newly renovated rooms and suites, most of which offer lake views. The restaurant serves typical Austrian cuisine and a wide selection of Austrian and international wines, which are also served by the glass. You can dine in one of the beautiful, newly renovated dining room or in the beer garden right at the market square of Strobl.
