K+K Palais Hotel  

Very convenient location, within a few walking minutes from the pedestrian zone, free wired internet, free parking places on site, attentive personnel and awesome breakfast with a convenient time range.

Had a room with indoor view which is not the very best you can get, no ventilation in the room/bathroom

We booked the k+k purely on chance as the selection in Vienna is vast, and this was our first visit to Austria. The price offered and the reviews we read about the hotel made the decision easy. The hotel is in an excellent location, easy to walk to several sites including the entire historic district, St. Stephen's Cathedral, the shopping plaza, museums, the Lichtenstein Museum (be sure to see this with a tour group if you want to go in - we didn't and had to settle for a walk around the grounds - still excellent), etc. The hotel is also a two minute walk from the 'U' - the City's rail network. We easily hopped aboard the train to see a concert one evening and Schoenbrunn Castle another afternoon. Finally, the hotel itself is outstanding. Very courteous, helpful and accomodating staff, and the bfast buffet offers good selection and great tasting food. We'd highly recommend the K+K.

Cleaning personnel only came to clean the room at 18.00 on a sunday and on the other day at 8:45

Everything - the Hotel, its location close to Wein centre/shops/sites/Airport dropoff/pickup stop, but in a quiet square; all Hotel staff were professional, helpful and friendly: the cleanliness, layout and facilities in our Executive room/bathroom were excellent.

Friendliness and efficiency of hotel staff. Very smooth and easy check in/check out. Good air conditioining. Quiet location. Excellent proximity to airport bus.

A small point. It would have been nice to have our own coffee pot on our breakfast table. Having to wait/ask for a cup refill was irksome. Perhaps the hotel is honouring the American tradition in this aspect rather than the European. A choice might be the best option.

Excellent location. Every place was within walking distance.

Staff at the front desk was off hand and not friendly. The breakfast room was very crowded and understaffed. They have a very strange lock on the room doors and many people had problems opening the room including us. Difficult at night if you got stuck!!!

good hotel, very nice, recommend

Just blocks from the main tourist areas and a subway station, so good location. Breakfast was good and the staff friendly and helpful (some more than others). I especially would single out Frank the bellman, who spoke perfect English and was extremely helpful with tips and directions. Our city tour booked by the hotel was great. The room was small for three adults, but nicely decorated and comfortable.

Wireless internet didn't work in our room and we had to go to the lobby area for a signal. It only marginally worked in the breakfast area. Some staffers spoke with a heavier accent and were impatient with us when we couldn't understand. Others were great, though.

Overall quality of the facility. Excellent breakfast.

The hotel breakfast had a super selection of quality food choices with the staff providing attentive service, constantly restocking the food and coffee. The beds were comfortable and the room a decent size.The third bed that was needed for our adult son who joined us for 2 nights was comfortable.The hotel is located 3 blocks from the airport bus stop. Shopping and Alte Stadt sights are within 5-10 minutes away. Our room faced the park and was quiet, except for some noise from Friday & Saturday night restaurant and bar clientel. We found it good value.
