Hotel Kohlpeter  

The hotel was situated very close to the city centre. Rooms were very clean and amenities were excellent. The Staff in the restaurant were extremely helpful .

Very comfortable hotel with a lovely breakfast. The room was very bright and airy. An enjoyable stay. It was a 15 minute bus ride into the town. The bus stop was very near the hotel and the buses were very frequent

Was confortable, feel like at home, and reasonable.

Fanitures in the room were shabby, but could work.

The hotel was close to Salzburg by bus and also our relatives (in the opposite direction). As our family could guide us, we were easily able to get two buses from the airport to the hotel - otherwise we would have used a taxi. We had a slight communication problem regarding our room - we asked for a quad room with a double and two singles - they thought this meant 3 rooms - but this was quickly solved to more than our satisfaction. The staff spoke excellent English. The breakfast was simple but very good.

Would be nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room but there is a vending machine available. If you didn't know where the hotel was it might be a little hard to find first time but it is in a lovely quiet location.

Nice hotel set down a reasonably quiet road, clean comfortable room, ( had been given a room fan thankfully) as it was around 85 degrees when we visited. Ate outside at night, we had the wiener snitzel, my other half had the veal and I opted for the pork version, very nice. Staff very friendly and service good, I think a lot of the local people eat here as well as it got very busy. Breakfast was varied and very nice. Would recommend to all, especially those wishing to visit the Red Bull Hangar 7 Museum at the airport which is 1.6 miles away.

The quadruple room is spacious with a big shower/toilet. The room was very clean and well maintained. Good, buffet style breakfast.

There is not much around the hotel and although the hotel is not too far away from the city, it took a while to get to there by car since there is traffic jam all the time in Salzburg. But overall, it was a good stay.

It is a very good hôtel for family trip and also for good dinner

Situation of the hotel

Really nice small hotel with full restaurant and seperate large breakfast area. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was fantastic. The triple room was excellent and spacious. Top class bathroom and shower, I would say 4 star quality. Quiet residential area yet very close to the motorway. Loads of free and safe parking. Would love to have stayed longer. Highly recommended for family and business.

Driving to and from town was a nightmare. Unrelenting traffic.

Was booked for a group 2 adults+2 children got a room with double bed for children - inconvinient+wasn't informed that it would be like this

Nice hotel just outside of Salzburg city. Good connections with one bus directly to the old town. Salzburg is a really nice city to visit. Will definetely come again and could easily stay again at this hotel. Roomwas surprisingly nice and seemed to be renovated just 1-2 years ago.

No airconditioning, which did not bother since it was not hot. If it had been, might have not been so nice??
