Our new Kolpinghaus Wien Zentral was opened on 1 July 2007. It is the ideal base to reach all attractions of Vienna's city centre within 12 minutes walk.

Although the hotel is situated in the city centre of Vienna it is in a quiet location. Most of the rooms have a view of the courtyard and, weather allowing, guests can have breakfast in the garden.

Our house is 100% accessible for disabled guests and we are the only hotel in Vienna that offers 9 specially equipped disabled rooms. The whole house was built according to Feng Shui criteria to ensure that our guests experience a feeling of harmony, regeneration and well being supported by the vital force Qi.

Hotel information

Our hotel was opened on 1 July 2007 and offers comfortable rooms, conference rooms, parking for cars and bicycles, as well as rooms for student accommodation.

We are a unique hotel located in the centre of Vienna. The colourful exterior continues in the interior of the hotel reflecting the liveliness and joy of living in our house. Our varied breakfast buffet is prepared with attention to detail and if the weather allows can be served on the terrace.

There are numerous restaurant options nearby, for example at the Vienna market or in the city centre. We offer sparkling drinking water according to Johann Grander, the inventor of the water stimulation.

Our house is suitable for guests with allergies as we have no carpets and we use allergy friendly bedding.

Room information

The superior rooms offer a modern and colourful interior, a spacious bathroom and all modern facilities. Internet access with LAN-cable is only available in the superior rooms. Cables can be obtained from the reception desk.

Standard rooms are comfortable and functional and offer all the standard facilities of a 2-star hotel.

Unique to Vienna, Kolping Wien Zentral offers 9 apartments for up to 18 disabled guests. Some rooms are large enough to accommodate 2 wheelchair users. The accommodation has adapted bathrooms, including baths with grab-rails and wheel-in showers.

Area information

The Kolping Wien Zentral is within walking distance of the city centre and many attractions, including the famous Naschmarkt – Vienna’s most popular market.

Most rooms overlook the hostels patio.

The receiptionlists are extremely rude, the 2 female in day shift. I have asked them for a direction and they responded with attitude. The bed is not comfortable at all. This is the worst hotel I ever stay.

The hotel is clean and basic. Breakfasts is ok but nothing fancy. The best thing about this hotel is that it is in the center of Vienna and all sightseeing can be done on foot.

Very good location. Walking distance to the center. Ubahn stop nearby, bus stop in front of the hotel. Parking in a hotel garage.

Breakfast room not large enough for the capacity of the hotel - after 8.00 it was necessary to wait for a seat.

Really impressed, brand spanking new, couldn't have asked for more for the money

Breakfast was only continental if that matters to you (Had a full english style in Bratislava the day before in a cheaper hotel)
