Room was big and clean.
Bad internet connection. We couldn't connect to the internet the whole time while we were there.
We had wonderful days here. Lovely location. Kindly staff. Tasty breakfast.
The room in which I stayed was huge, it was clean, it was lovely. Had a widescreen LCD, wi-fi and a mini fridge. The bathroom was also spacious enough. There was also a spare bed for a child and a big enough table. Breakfast was good, but no hot dishes. It was a quiet place and we had a relaxing good time. Rooms were spotless and orderly, thank you Anita! There was only one thing that did bother me, the bed had two mattresses instead of one and at times if you strayed too much towards the middle of the bed you would just find a an ever increasing gap between the two mattresses and yourself down the middle between them. If you can, pick room 6. I don't know about the others except 3, but 6 was really good. Bottom line: I enjoyed my stay, breakfast was good, bang-for-buck was also good. Spacious room (if your lucky). If I can, I will return here, just this time during the summer months to see how it would be. Great place !
Not all rooms are as good, 2 friends of mine (tall friends) were not so lucky with their room. They had a twin bed room which was about half the size of my room. I did specify tall friends because this small room made things more difficult for them, especially in the bathroom when washing their hands they would bump into stuff. The lady at the front desk was nice and did tell them if they wanted to change rooms, but we were only there for two days out of which most of the day we were away, so they chose not to. Avoid room 3, it's a nice room, but it's definitely a single room with 2 beds squished inside, unless you want to just sleep and then stay out the rest of the day. Also, to get in and out sometimes you had to go out through the back, because the front desk was closed most of the time and it being also a bar they preferred to keep that room locked. Such that you could not go directly in into the house at times. Mind that we stayed during the winter, i don't expect this to be a problem during warmer months when the whole front yard is opened. Another thing is the owner spoke little English, but enough to get by. There was a worker there who spoke good English but the woman who serves you breakfast or cleans your room did not seem to know English. We had someone that spoke a little German in our group to help through our breakfast times :)
